Signature question

Hi all, I wasn't sure where this should go but I hope it's fine here. I just have one question,
I noticed that when I went to make a new Off Topic thread it says "Note: Messages on this forum doesn't count." Does that mean posting in Off Topic threads mean that it doesn't count towards unlocking the ability to add images onto your signature?

Correct. Off topic does not count towards your post number on the forums.
