Overview:
You get an unexpected package delivery one day. When you open it, there’s a man inside - but luckily, he comes with instructions! You have your own impressionable boyfriend. It’s your duty to shape him into a proper person… since he’s actually a “doll” with no past exposure to people.

However, this delivery wasn’t meant for you. Will you fall in love with the person he turns out to be? Will you be able to keep him by your side?

Oh I played this before. I remember the pictures not having genitalia then. But as nice as being able to customize a boyfriend for yourself, the game is pretty lackluster in writing. It feels like it was written like a fanfic made by a teenager. Jokes can be cringey at times, and while that can be okay, there's too much of them.

The game is designed around customizing your personal boyfriend, and while that seems like a wonderful concept, the game also suffers from it. Because its so centered on that integral design, there's hardly any plot or storyline here outside of what your boyfriend's interest become or how the two of you interact.

It's fine to have a blank slate sort of a MC, but when both interacting characters are kind of like blank slates then the story progression somewhat loses its consistency. I sometimes see hints of the MC having a bit of their own personality but that gets forgotten pretty quickly as your boyfriend changes.

Another thing I didn't quite like was the weird stuff he would suddenly say when I apparently pick the wrong choice. Kind of my fault, since I forgot that whatever tone you try to talk to him has to be consistent. But the dialogue choices aren't very clear in the tone you want to take at times. And goddang the transition between unaware doll to spiky badboy was too sudden. And when your boyfriend changes hoo boyie he becomes an absolute stereotype of what you want him to be. And I don't think I would ever date a stereotype.

Terrible writing. Uninteresting gameplay. Would fap to if desperate, but would not recommend.

I wonder why Yuri and Yaoi games get professional level art while straight games are stuck with devian art tier art or lame 3dcg stuff.
I don't want to classify this game as having professional level art as it's definitely not my cup of tea (too cutesy). But I've seen worse in some yaoi games.

I don't think there are really any pictures to fap to? At least I didn't see any full nudity. Also the writing is pretty clearly written from a female MC standpoint, and some adjustments were made to allow for the inclusion of gay or bi players. In that capacity, I think this would be a better game for people who aren't as interested in visual stimuli.

You weren't kidding. Decided to check this out for myself and one of the first things you see when you start up a game is a "quirky" joke about millennials binge drinking coffee.

Also don't give your character a first and last name or you'll get this.

Yeah. It's missing a tag for female protagonist btw. You can change pronouns so you can adhere to being a male/female/gender neutral person. Not sure if anatomical preference is designed for yourself or your boyfriend.

Since I played a 1.0 version, I checked Steam if there was a 18+ DLC. Apparently, there's only a 1.2 patch. The included extra sprites and miscellaneous are only for more yaoi-like sprites (pretty boy art leaning towards a female audience) and some other art. There's no cocks shown as of right now.

Also I forgot to mention another dealbreaker in this game for me. Limited save slots. Seriously, there's only six slots.

I know I sound like I'm bitching over being able to play a game for free, but its disappointing to see a gay game that is just straight up terrible. Like, you could definitely see it as being able to be more than what it is.

There are a lot of professionally done VN games with straight porn that have been coming out for ages and yaoi titles were almost nonexistent by comparison. However the age of Patreon and crowd funding sites showed that the niche queer category was a very hungry market of people desperate for content. So you ended up with a lot of people jumping on the bandwagon and getting paid well for it, meaning they could afford to have good art and why it's more prevalent than in the past.

I play pretty much anything, I've seen great artwork on both sides though. Can't speak for this game art wise much yet but that's my take on your question.

I'm trying to get into this game but the MC is just this...mean, annoying, prudish asshole. Is this supposed to be endearing? Am I supposed to be rooting for "me" to open up my heart to love or something? It just makes me wanna skip 100% of the dialogue because it's just gonna be mean or annoying or prudish or assy.

The concept is wonderful. Raising boyfriend sim with the possible BxB option? Sign me the fuck up!
Too bad, like others already mentioned, the writting is the worst. Millenial jokes, MC having a terrible sense of humor, boyfriend acting creepy sometimes and many other things make me not want to replay this game ever again. Played it twise, no more.
The funniest thing I've encountered is the scene where the couple is having sex and boyfriend brings up pregnancy. I was playing as a guy and was very confused, to say at least.
The only thing I liked about this game is a female side character(the shop owner) talking about her lesbian relationship. It was kinda sweet, shame she didn't even had a sprite.

Uneven writing seems to be a recurring thing with Reine, going by the more verbose Steam reviews of their VNs, and this sounds like it's from the shoddy end of the scale. :/

I bought this game on Steam when it still had no reviews.
Can't forget all the mixed feelings I had when I was playing this VN.
But overall, I can say, "Well~, I have seen much worse".

To those, who are bothered about the game being "gay" - you can choose your own pronouns (he/she/they)
(though to me, it seems more like the MC is a female)

To those, who are disappointed about not being able to see the genitals (〃ω〃) - "After much deliberation, we've released a proper 18+ patch. This alters the game's sexy scene CGs to show genitalia. For your convenience, the original versions of the CGs are still visible in the Gallery alongside the images from the 18+ patch. * Pending approval on Steam." (08.22.2019) - so, wait for the DLC that will be released in 1-2 weeks if you want to download it from Steam.

Also, you can download it for free from the official itch.io page of Reine Works or from or

I thought the game was fine for what it is. I like having multiple options for gender and anatomical preferences, that was neat.

I'm assuming this doesn't include the additional personalities? Or I'm just having trouble unlocking them?

I believe there are still 2 personalities in the works but those will be released at a later date. Fashionista and thrillseeker I think?
