i have mixed feelings when writing this review, just as the game has mixed genres. hard to write review, cuz game have 2 separated parts- vn and sndbox...
PRO:
- not bad art
- no critical bugs
- not bad content amount
- almost all end_of_content marked(i mean player got info like "mby we ll fcuk in another update")
- many choices stored in variables (it mean- good future save compatibility)
- story ersatz is ok and enough for that game
CONS:
- almost all code is ok (not ideal, but ok), but some thins work badly, as example: if u press CTRL key- you will be taken away(phone screen, map, appartments etc)
- anticheat system... for what purpose it here? pathetic
- permanent patreon button. dev, if you think it will help, you're wrong - it will only piss player off. i cuted that s*** in 10-15 seconds, but many players cht do that- have some respect for them!
- in sandbox part no journal/hints/helper (dnt tell me about "helper" in pc- its useless)

there is no conclusion, cuz i cnt formulate- too many mixed feelings.

It was a lot more fun then I was expecting going in. Some of the animations could be polished, hell, 'could be polished' is applicable to quite a bit of the game's content. But it was enjoyable. I was even ignoring the quite bad engrish, at times. Which HAS been a deal breaker for me in other games. But it was when I realized the 'music vids' you watch when watching tv were clips of Kpop vids done to animation was when I really was hooked. I recognized the choreography for Black Pink's How You Like That. So I finally turned on the music to see if they were actually song clips. Made my day. Quite a few of my fave groups are in there. A treat for Kpop fans, so turn your music on if you're like me and usually mute music.

awesome game, if you are into harem, repeating knocking up the girls in your harem, finding new girls and trying to knock them up also. there are some sketchy stuff you had to do to get the girls but there are also safe route too.

Ok, first i have to say i really don't like sandbox games which is why i almost didn't play this one. Boy am i glad i gave it a try, i can honestly say i enjoy it with this game. There's nothing about it that is earth shatteringly new but i really like the way the job aspect of this game works, the way it's put together just seems to be more enjoyable and flows rather well compared to most other sandbox games. Renders are not blow your mind amazing but are pretty good, sex scenes are the same and the writing is decent as well. A bit of drama, humor and the like keeps me coming back for more. One of only 2 or 3 sandbox games that i would be comfortable recommending. An all around fun game, well done to the Dev. Looking forward to more.

Review for update [v0.10.0] Wow Wow Wow what a complete 180! I really appreciate the DEV giving us the option of going the kinetic route with the linear path in the new update or trying the open world/open choice concerning the decisions you want the MC to do option wise. The graphics have greatly improved as well as character and story progression! Great new choices as well as some interesting options in future updates from how this one left off.

For all tense purposes before this update the game play was very repetitive and dull you did the same thing everyday. Wake up. Choose to take a shower or skip it, then go to work where you'd see the MC typing on a computer until you went home and decided which of your booty calls you would call (praying one of them would answer so you get new scenes/content). If not you just did the same thing on repeat until you would get a new scene. There was no instructions on what to do or where to go to begin a new scene, so it made it super frustrating or annoying. This new update feels like almost a completely new game!

Some parts are a bit unnecessarily annoying though I would recommend the DEV removing the whole (get dressed normally or professionally) that pops up every single time you wake up in the morning. Because if i want to check my computer I would have to skip through that and after a while it gets a bit repetitive like those incessant unskippable ads on Youtube. I also noticed a potential bug. I unlocked the VIP in the Strip Club via the dark app or whatever it's called yet each time I went to the Strip Club it was still just the regular 100 dollar basic entry and the same dancers.

There was no 300 dollar entry or anything so what's the point of including that unlock I would highly recommend just implementing that new VIP in the club once that portion of the game is completed/ready. However, all those things i mentioned earliar are just pet peeves I really like the actual implementation of instructions actually telling you where to go or what to do in order to progress in content. Made it much more enjoyable I would highly recommend this game good job dev! 5/5 Stars due to great improvement and listening to feedback.

Yes, this is a simple game...you basically go through life as a 19 year-old. That really isn't the problem.

The problem is that there's no real conflict to move the story along. Of course, you can knock girls up but outside of that, there's no real conflict...and that makes for a dull story.

The female character NPCs are fairly well-defined as they have different personalities...but it doesn't make up for the shortcomings in the story.

The graphics are average or slightly better than average. The resolution is 4:3. The dialogue is also pretty boring.

Nothing great, nothing horribly bad. Just meh.

v0.9.3 finished all content (both modes).
First of all: 4:3 aspect ratio, c'mon man, what year is this, 2003? Despite this, hot girls, most of which you can knock up.

Weird shift from visual novel to sandbox in the middle of the game. Selecting visual novel mode still keeps some sandbox aspects. I tried both modes and preferred the normal sandbox despite hating sandbox because this VN mode here felt off.

Story is pretty typical, young dude gets offered a job and from there gets rich and adds chicks to his harem. I found the harem aspect a bit too unbelievable, in my playthrough I dated everyone, lied&cheated, and then when sidechick C meets sidechick F, etc they are best friends and happy to be MCs harem sluts, which just felt unrealistic, because it happens like that with everyone. Jealousy doesn't seem to exist, which might be easier to navigate but makes characters far less believable. Writing was fine, bit immature but passable.

Overall, wasn't bored though. This is either a strong 3 or a weak 4 from me.

I was quite surprised by this game, which I started with low expectations. As its name and description suggest, it has a simple story. But it's as interesting as it is simple. The looks and personalities of the girls are quite well designed. It's also the first time I've seen the issues of getting pregnant and accidentally getting pregnant so well handled in a game. Also, it seems absurd that this game does not have an animation tag, because it has good (or not bad) animations. A harem full of loyal girls who are well-designed and can get pregnant... What else could a Harem Lord want?

Last Note: This game has its own style. And it got a lower star than it deserved because it was mostly voted for by people who don't understand this style. I mean, for example, it's absurd that he should be criticized for his script being simple, because the DEV didn't promise a detailed or hard script from the beginning.

Simple knock-up simulator game, you literally impregnate one girl few minutes into first meeting.

Good animations, I like how each scene has multiple animations and judging by the past updates the dev seems to go back to old style animations and improve them to match new ones, which is nice.

While the story is obviously not the goal of this game since it is almost non-existent, I'll rate it based on the sex scenarios which is pretty decent, this dev has passion for impregnating fetish and he's not shy to show it

Gameplay: 4/5 ⭐
Not a fan of the open world that starts in chapter 2, and if you pick VN style instead of open world it basically just keeps moving you between open world locations, which is a bit worse than open world.
With that being said, the quest log is nice and you don't get confused often using it, no need for extra "walkthrough mod" like 90% of the games which is a + in my book.

Criticism:
Now the worst thing about this game -in my opinion- is that there is no progression. If it only takes a month for children to be born that means each game month should be roughly 9 months for us humans, so us spam knocking up women and them giving birth there should be some sense of world progression (1 year... 2 years..etc).

I know it's insanely demanding to want to see the children grown up (especially how many we make in the game lol), so my other solution would be giving them for adoption or just ending the game with huge family photo, It makes no sense that they live together with the mc but they're permanently infants.

Another problem is the pregnancy chance, you can say what you will about realistic pregnancy chance but this game is so far from reality that we can afford to have something like +Fertility pills or some ovulation inducing pills we can sneak into target's drinks~

Game could be great but the story is kinda hard to follow and believe. Such a repetitive grind without reward trying to find something new to the novel. Calling people, getting the same answers over and over until something change.

Also, I gotta say this if the developer reads : It has been months that we've been asking for more ema content and it's just not happening. Such a waiting time just to see her marry her boyfriend.

I don't know if you plan to add more structure to this but it feels kinda pointless to play so far (And I did start over like 5 times on different versions already hoping it gets better)

Review:
This game appears to be moderate, is almost 1GB in size and you think you have enough content to enjoy, however most of the content is repetition in which you end up getting tired and giving up. Sincerely, this game needs to be reworked, because at the moment it's pretty boring to play that.

History:
The game does not offer a proposal for you to get involved with the story, I say this because in chapter 2 you will eventually notice this. However, the plot of the game doesn't bring a sense of interest, so just consider it's more of an adult game where you're going to fuck girls.
Gameplay:
The game has two modes divided into a chapter which is 2, sandbox and VN. In chapter 1, there is a little story and plot for you to understand, but as I said above, there is no reason to get you interested in plot and story, yes, the story is bad. Chapter 2 is nothing but a worse repetition than in chapter 1. In chapter 1 we talked over the phone with some girl so that this character's story could move forward, but there was a repetitive cycle of you doing the same thing, staying home and doing chores or going to work. From work staying at home with your parents or going out for a walk by the beach or calling some girl and progressing through the event with her.
In chapter 2, nothing changes, however, the gameplay is worse because it is so repetitive. Playing VN or Sandbox will take you down the same replay path as you will have to do the same thing over and over again.
Graphics & Sexual Content:
The graphics aren't good, but they're not bad either. The renderings of the female models too, I didn't think it was too bad, because I think it's the best thing about this game. But believe me, it could be better. The sex scenes are okay, not too good but not too bad either,but that honestly could be much better and also lacking content which makes it very uninteresting. The animations are average, it's something you look at and think, ''well, at least there is" but nothing surprising or bad enough. Above all, little content to enjoy, chapter 1 you can enjoy a little but chapter 2, no.

PROS:
- The girls' renderings are ok, yes I've seen worse, so I didn't think so bad.
- It has models of pregnant girls for those with a fetish.
- The sex scenes and animations are ok but could be better, but ok.

CONS:
- Uninteresting story and plot, there is no pleasure in you immersing yourself in the game.
There is no constructive relationship in which you have to gain affection with the girls and things happen. I missed that, grind can be boring, but repeating almost the same thing and not getting you anywhere is even worse.
- There aren't many interactions in the game, the pregnancy content is more boring than you think, besides the girl giving birth and you having a baby. I say this because it's content that you can't have fun with, so it's not worth the effort.
Sandbox and VN are the same thing, believe me, neither is worse or better than the other. The sandbox gets better because you interact better in this empty world, but the VN is faster in gameplay.
- Did I say you have nothing to do? I think so, but let me add. There's nothing to do in the MC work, it's just a repeat conversation with the girls. Same thing happens when you get home, you watch TV with the girls and that's it, that's all.
- You choose which girl you want to sleep with and fuck her, repetitive cycle. Go to sleep and do it all over again, you don't interact with the girls to gain affection and unlock new events, like, girls wearing more comfortable clothes, more positions during sex, among many other things.

Why I did gave 1 star?
This game could have potential, but for that it is necessary to be more organized. Starting with chapter 1 of trying to be more to the point, because it's useless to have to do that repetitive cycle. Chapter 2 follows the same cake recipe, it seems that nothing changes, but it gets worse than the first, because you find almost nothing new. The gameplay is so boring it makes us want to close the game, the plot of chapter 2 is not enough to be engaging, not even in chapter 1 you can have a little interest, in chapter 2 it's nice to have to take the girls to live with you, but where exactly is the proposal of the game and what would it be ? sorry but the plot seems very empty, for there is no feeling of wanting to corrupt or anything that is perverse, it is just a generic novel, which is quite boring. The girls are in the house, you just keep repeating the same thing as usual, there aren't many interactions, there isn't a building, there isn't anything. It's the same thing that happens at the MC's work or anywhere else. Anyway, I can't give a rating above 1 star, it's not that the game is bad, it's necessary to improve the gameplay and give it a good organization, improve the interface, decide if it will be VN or sandbox, because I didn't see advantages in either of them, because it will practically have the same empty interaction with the characters, in which I say is a void. I hope the game gets reworked as I don't recommend it at the moment.

As of v0.9.2:

So far, the game is ok. It is evident that the developer/writer is not natively fluent in English, as the dialogue and writing is frequently grammatically incorrect or oddly structured. That aside, the game starts out in VN format, with a few limited choices here and there, but after chapter 2 the player has the option to change to a "sandbox" mode or keep playing as a VN.
The sandbox allows you to sort of do activities in the order/time that you want, whereas the VN mode still seems to give you access to everything (except an event at the bank thus far) but only activates certain events at specific times. Regardless, Chapter 2 feels like it was intended to be played in sandbox mode, so this is probably the better avenue of approach.

After chapter 2, it appears that the girls get some sort of "love value" as indicated by a heart popup after choosing certain options or spending the night with them. However, there is no way to track this value, or anything else about the girls for that matter (such as pregnancy, etc). Also, the MC has to start 4 girls living with him as of this update, but more have been introduced including a character who appeared for one scene and is never seen again, and one who wanted to get pregnant by MC and also is never seen again. Without some sort of tracking system or other indication of where you're at with these characters (including if a girl can even be a love interest at all) it can lead to some confusion. I also strongly suggest the dev to not add too many girls; else you end up in situations like in other games where there are so many girls you forget who is who and none of them get adequate attention.

In both modes there is not really a clear indicator of when the current content is complete, as you begin looping events endlessly, and some events are repeatable. You can increase the "love value" of each girl but it doesn't appear to have much of a purpose at this point. In sandbox mode, pretty much every action results in time of day passing which can be problematic when going from one room to another in the spa for example passes what appears to be several hours: it feels like you have to gameify your own schedule. There is a hint system, but it could use some clean-up to perhaps update the tasks as the player does them if they require multiple interactions (for example: "visit Dora at Hospital (not on weekend)" needs to be completed twice for different events each time but the hint remains the same, which can make it seem like it's a bug).

I will say this game gets points for having more active pregnancy content than other games: most of the girls can get pregnant depending on your choices, and that is visually reflected over time. I have noticed the occasional bug where their pregnancy isn't evident during some sex scenes, and some oversights in design where a pregnant woman would probably not be laying on their stomach with a big baby bump (for example). However, the girls do end up actually having their children during the game instead of as an epilogue, so that leads to some opportunities for some more wholesomeness and other activities that have been dabbled in with the 0.9.2 update. TBD if the girls can have multiple kids - it seems implied that it is possible.

Overall the game has a lot of potential, IMO. At the moment though it can feel like a bit of a grind and very repetitive. Ultimately this is what brings down the game for me at this time. Perhaps later when there's more content (and perhaps some proper editing by a native english speaker to clean up the writing) the game will be more fun to play.

Revision (2 -> 4 stars) as of this writing ( 0.14.0 ) a lot has improved with the game. The quality of content overall has increased by a pretty significant margin, with still scenes increasingly replaced by animated scenes of increasing quality. The sandbox has also improved measurably, There is a lot more sign-posting, hints, and clear indications of when a chain is in-progress or has up coming time-gated conditions. It's clear the dev has reacted to initial feedback and almost all of the confusion that plagued previous versions has been worked out. The story is still nothing to write home about, but each character arc has improved and serves well as set dressing for an erotic game. Overall, this is probably one of the better erotic Ren'Py games out there as far as the content with a good balance of content quality, variety, and ease of access.

(old review for reference) The sandbox mode is poorly executed. There is no direction beyond vague computer messages that often lead to nothing. it becomes an endless groundhog day loop of searching for whatever scraps of stingy content decides to present itself on that day. Waste of time and HD space in it's current form. This is a shame because scraping the games files reveals some nice scenes, if you ever happen to stumble upon them.

I really enjoy this game, honestly I can't wait for the update. Been looking forward to 9.0 for a while!
- The beginning is rather straight forward no annoying tasks like in other games. 5/5
- I don't find some of the early characters attractive. However when the MC moves to Mohoro all the baddies come out . I am super excited for more late game content. 5/5
- Writing is really nice and with more support this game has the potential of being one of the best on the site.
All in all I really do like this game. Beginning is okay, didn't like some of the characters. Late game however is awesome. Really need more content xD

I feel like in spite of the flaws of this game I finally have one that hits most of the marks for me:

1. Polyamory/Polygamy: done almost immediately
2. Pregnancy options for all girls romanced: oh yes
3. MC isn’t a total pussy: done as well he owns up to his actions almost all the time
4. MC living with all his girls: it gets there
5. Multiple races for girls: super done not that I dislike white girls but I kind of want variety
6. MC willing to risk his life: done as well for at least one of

Really the only thing missing for me would be like a villain girl that gets taken down by the MC and kept in his basement to rape/impregnate, but we can’t have it all. Overall the flaws can be ignored because really there isn’t much like it out there and it has gotten better with versions released.

The english is... bad. Animations are... bad. Some dialogue doesn't even make sense. The entire story is written like the main character is unironically the tip-fedora-nice-guy. Yikes.
Perhaps the dev should consider writing in their own native language and have someone else translate it? Not to mention the use of ellipsis in literally every line of dialogue. Not worth the space it takes up.

OK so i wrote a review here for another novel, So i want make an apology to the Dev for doing so and thanks for pointing that error out to me, i actually really like Simple Days, specially since you can make the choice to avoid the hole sandbox thing and just stick to the novel version, which i think is great that the Dev give players that option, artwork is good, story i really like also the multiple endings, Keep up the good work and Good luck with the rest of the development.

People say this game is for pregnancy fetish, but the game doesnt even have a single scene with one of the girls being actually pregnant or delivering a child or anything of that sort, too many characters are introduced with no real content, I can only say if this is incomplete and a better version comes up later it would be good.
