I don't say this very often, in fact I feel like I always have something to bitch about. But this game, I need more of this.
I went out a few times and eventually ran into that girl that you run into right after the tutorial, in front of a grave near the entrance. She had a bit of dialogue that implied that she thought the tower was safe with your character suggesting she come inside which ends with her saying something along the lines of "I'll think about it". At the far end of the area, opposite of the spire, are some houses that your character refers to in dialogue with the merchant girl with chests scattered about. Other than that it's a good place to hang out to tank your sanity if you want to check the dialogue that pops up when you're losing it and like being jumpscared by sudden, loud noises.While I doubt it is of any use but is there any use going outside the spire? There is like a tip telling us that "It is nice to go outside every now and then" but all I got was a dialogue tree from the merchant when talking to her again and a sense of dread outside.
Most i've ever gotten was a jumpscare, i havent died from the map yet i dont thinkFrom my experience, I pretty much died after looking at a map for a certain period of time while at low sanity. And looking on how some codes, my guess is probably because the "timer" when low sanity doesn't exactly stop like it is based on your playtime rather than time playing. I am mostly guessing here since the text pop ups when low sanity became a jumbled mess on my screen appearing all at once.
Looking at the map itself won't kill you but if you are outside the spire and your sanity hits zero, you'll hear running footsteps then get one shot by the white creature from the tutorial.Most i've ever gotten was a jumpscare, i havent died from the map yet i dont think

First I want to say that I like the concept of the game and we need more scarousing game on this website. Sin Spire concept is cool, the tone is nice, but I feel like many things don't work. I know it's only version 0.2 but I feel like I need to voice what I dislike and perhaps that might help Krasue.
- Biggest problem for me atm is that the monster girls chara design is kinda meh imo, I don't mind the dev embracing the silent hill 2 vibes and that's fine... But the monsters are not very inspired and for me they are not very hot looking. Previous monster girl from Halls of the Pale Widow was hotter than the entire Sin Spire cast atm. Only 1 animation per monster and some of them look/feel reused on different monsters and lack oomph, there is a robotic feel to the animations atm. The ghost girl in Halls of the pale widow had more personality in her defeat animations than Sin spire monster girl cast. (The fact that I also find the monster girls in Sin Spire meh looking like I said above doesn't help)

- The game gets boring and repetitive a bit fast... same monsters reused every floor, The rage orb system to redo the same shit multiple times just to fight the annoying boss lady is kinda boring. It doesn't help that you will die due to some bs unfair hitboxes from traps or monster blocking your way when there is room to escape, you aren't even rewarded with defeat sex scene animations. And don't get me started on the find the obsidian key stuff for every floor door in the 2nd lvl, one of the most frustrating/unfun game design idea of the entire game.

I feel like it's a game where you want to do fast in and out runs early to loot and level up fast but the absurd leveling up prices and some gear prices are holding you back and demand you put an absurd amount of time redoing the same shit over and over again to go up by like 3 levels on 1 single stat and there are 8 stats to lvl up and you don't know what half of them even do. Collecting blessings is a chore, and some blessing demands like 100 of a stat which is insane.
