Good news! Chapter 2.4 Changelog + Dates & Links:

SubscribeStar is being shitty and I doesn't let me make a post public for everyone so I'm also posting the info here. Consider joining the free tier for dev posts though :p

"A lot of attention is paid ..."

No. If that was the case, it would have been made with a proper 3D design tool like Daz... and not with a game (and especially Illusion).
Sometimes you have to work with what you can afford or what you are familiar with. The main issue with Daz is it requires Nvidia hardware, so if you happen to already have AMD most are not going to run out and buy a $1700+ 4090 just to solo make a hobby game, even if they can afford it (putting it on a credit card and going into debt for multiple months or years isn't affording it). Also assets (at least good ones) are not cheap in the Daz store (I know a few high-end devs with few thousand subs that spent over $10k a year just in assets to speed up development time, some probably far more). Also animations that don't suck or the overused stock animations (you've probably seen them all, the lotus/cowgirl position is still my fav) are a pita to do in Daz, to the point most will hire an animator to help that has other tools like Blender and is good at it (more money that most simply don't have, at least not in a first AVN).

Yeah they do that to legally cover their asses. Most use SS for loli AVNs/art/comics, etc that is outright illegal in a number of countries outside the US. Not letting the general open public see it for free (the usual cc payment also acts as 18+ age verification) and then have a bunch of them or their parents complain to the gov't is one way to avoid the legal heat, it's why only paid subs can see "public" posts from devs, and most devs even then simply link their spoilers/preview renders with lolis on something like Gofile or Mega thats' an encrypted .zip with a password. I'd guess if you had no free tier like many devs that restriction would be removed.

It's not that, and ss doesn't care about that censorship anyway (and it is an US company lol). I think it's just an issue with the system because I could do public posts just fine before, the pinned one in my profile is public for example.

I have good hardware but honestly Daz doesn't do it for me, there's too many novels using it already. I prefer the more cartoony style while still pushing the limits of Honey Select 2 with the graphic mods and realistic shaders that people make. If I wanted to make something realistic in the future I'd probably use something highly customizable and with infinite potential, like Blender.

Yeah Daz/Blender with AI photorealism filter ftw. Mistakenly get a real porn tag, even though none of the models actually exist. I can't wait for that to go mainstream.

Can't wait till we get good enough consumer hardware to train decent models. I'd definitely like to try making one for Honey Select 2 just to see if it's possible to replace the full rendering pipeline with gen AI, but I'm afraid it won't be as customizable as doing the actual render yourself in the software. In the more near term though, I'd like to do audio (in particular voices for the characters) because I've already made lots of songs for the game with Suno, and that's pretty cool.

The main thing is that you have potential and motivation!

Main thing is that you do not stop delighting us with such games in the genre of incest or something like slow burn with a good and beautiful story

why not go further, since you already can have a conversation with AI, making for some hilarious commentary!
