Said new version was planned on coming out today.
Then I got stranded in the middle of nowhere for two days thanks to historic flooding in the North American Pacific Northwest, where I so happen to live.
It's 80-90% done despite that, but me leaving it in the oven for an extra week should lemme add in more freeroamy stuff outside of the main story mission and bits of exposition.

A percentage of players treat the word "AI" like it's a plague. It'll bias people into thinking your game uses it whether you do or don't (in this case you don't) replacing it with a reference to Allied Mastercomputer would be cool though.

Already switched it out with 'Singularity'.
Might go back to AM, but for the moment I think this gives a better ideaof what the game is about than the A.M. reference.
(And now I slink back down into the coding mines)

Either label it as a demo/techdemo/alpha/pre-alpha or remove sub options.
Maybe that's why the dev chose the extra .0 sub-versioning, but maybe that's a sign of things to come... a twine sandbox rushed out half baked.

Patron and Subscribestars existed long before this project was thunk'd up (that I had a lewd review show. It's on rocky waters rn. Doing this in the interim.) Attached cause why not. No plans to actually monetize until I've enough content to justify monetization. Rn I'm guesstimating another month or two to reach that point but there's no guarantee.
I did choose the extra 0 intentionally, this one being 0.0.1 due to it actually containing 'some' gameplay elements vs being a purely narrative loop.
I've been learning coding as I develop and have less than a month's experience so that's prolly why the features might feel a bit off. I do plan on refining this project as I learn (and as I find the time to sit down and plot out the story).
Not gonna contest that I ought to have kept it in the oven a Lil longer but hindsight is 20:20 and I was somewhat overexcited to get this out into the world after hyping it up to my followers on Bluesky.
I 'am' gonna be taking more time with future releases and building on the foundations I've already laid.
I'm stubborn if nothing else. Believe me when I say this 'will' get a conclusion of some sorts vs being abandoned like too many HTML games. Barring extraordinary circumstances.

For the mind control tag is it more so the antagonists trying to mind control the heroine, the opposite or some sort of mixture?

RN, mostly heroine mindcontrolling other characters with a pinch of her getting her brain messed with in the intro.

Does the pre-alpha version (v0.0.1) still include prologue or do I need to download both?

It includes the Prologue. It's why the other download is "Prologue Standalone" vs just being labelled "Prologue".
