i think the thing that the dev wants to convey with the combat being so limiting is expressing how the heroine is kinda a normal human and not some hyper fighting heroine that can go boom defeating tons of enemies like nothing, something that btw also feeds off the horror game concept, in horror games we don't go action-man beating the crap out of the abominations we meet or else it would be more well action and not horror XD also some people have said that sinisistar 1 had better combat, is that what you mean? hmmm.... maybe i could agree, not to the extreme that SOME guys in here have said, but anywya also we'll see how this one evolves it is still in an early state after all. And tbh if i had to complain about something it would be about the poor optimization. Game demands more than better-looking titles, by better i mean higher res or 3d, i absolutely love pixel art above those, but speaking about requeriments it shouldn't demand like MORE

Confused.

I played it once and there was some necro dude summoning zombies that I couldn't get pass, so I quit.

I played it again and he wasn't there, I continue on to the tentacle boss like normal and easily clap it.

What made Necro boss spawn? The only thing I can think of was talking to NPC women at start, but not sure if that trigger it since I can't scribe moonrune.

depends on the demo you played cuz one of the earlier demos was about fighting some zombies and said tentacle boss but another demo didn't have the tentacle boss and instead had the necromancer if i'm not mistaken

It is the newest one and it had both. 1.6.2
First time I went in Necro was there. He was just before the area going Up to the tentacle boss. I couldn't bypass him and restarted the game.
Second time he wasn't there and I went straight pass where he spawn in to tentacle boss. So either bug or trigger somehow.

These are the monsters so far, Demihuman enemy has not yet been implemented and we can only see the defeat scene of the small variant, Tentacle monster is a boob expansion enemy which gives the expanded breasts abnormal effect on the first boss defeat and then game over by becoming a magic cow for the Tentacle Boss, Zombie is just the typical guro death by biting and Grave Keeper boss just fucks her and then zombifies the nun.

That's it for the 1.6.2 Preview, this game is going to be amazing when it's complete. I guess it's going to have many areas so we will need the new map system to navigate.

I figured it out.

To spawn or not spawn Necro.

At the start if you talk to girl she will give you a quest I am guessing to fight Necro, top option accepts him and will spawn him when you go to that area. The girl closest to you, not the one further away that does gallery.

Otherwise don't do it if you just want to do tentacle boss.

Are people seriously struggling with necromancer mini-boss...
Well, I can understand the zombies are annoying, spawning so fast that your stick/normal attack becomes useless.

but if you managed to get close enough you can slap him with a stick until he teleports away.
A.K.A you run towards the boss after losing once.

Then you can ACTUALLY snipe him with her bow to finish him off... [Just require trial and error.]

Tentacle monster?: easiest to beat, predictable attacks and gives you free energy by sending a full mana squid.

The demo doesn't add anything new, but its nice that the past demo was added into the main demo which shows progress of our dev.

I think the combat feels so weird because it's focusing on the magic attacks being the more powerful ones. Like the nun is a magic user, good at magic but poor at melee. You can actually crit enemies if you hit their head, then finish them off with a couple melee swings. I also think it's a but unrefined right now cause the only way to replenish MP is to kill the MP creatures the tentacle boss spawns or lose your HP and then come back. I'm sure once there's a consistent way of regaining MP, the combat will be a little less clunky.

Well, there's the inventory in the main menu that is non-functionable as of now. We'll see see more of it once it gets implemented.

so, you've confused me now since first you say the combat is remarkably atrocious, but then you describe it as a learnable, okay combat system, i.e. the nes-era style..

it was the normal way back then, so it was fine and not '.. atrocious'..

it's more that that the nes-era style is too difficult for a lot of ppl, in the same vein as, say dark souls type of games..

..in short ppl just mostly want the call of duty, forte nite, etc.. experiences.. phone games included..

quick, fast, and in a hurry.. but no real learning involved..

the funny part is that the brain actually enjoys this learning process that ppl don't want to partake in much anymore..

it's actually pretty funny in that dark humor, society going in a downward spiral toward oblivion sort of way lol

..anyways, I'm not attacking.. it's more of a perspective in the end.
Ok....? I think you think the learning process is something the brain enjoys, go learn Pashto. Lemme know how well that works out for you.

When I started the game, the gallery was empty as well. Going through the test area, which contains 3 stages, unlocked the gallery for me. The demo seems to end after the tentacle boss. BTW you can shoot infinite arrows in this version, which makes the game pretty easy.

Can't beat the tentacle boss so I deleted the game. I don't know why porn games have to be so damn near impossible to play these days. I miss the times when games supported easy mode now today's games only release in hard/impossible modes.

Stupid boss shooting out those little fuckers... I even hacked my HP and it seems the game still manages to give me a game over instantly. Fuck it.

No gallery either.

I think you are missing the point of this game. Perhaps you should go back to playing fortnite?
Ok, I did not think I would find this kind of self-fellating gaming elitist over a hentai-game demo and while there is something to be said for most of the comment, from kinda retarded, over the mentioned self-fellating cringe to just weak takes, I want to keep it short and "constructive" I guess.

The game isn't hard. I finished it in 15 minutes, and that includes me checking if I missed content and systems because everything was in Japanese. The move-set is about as basic as you can get. Within the first 3 lvls of a Nintendo Advanced Rayman game, you will have about double the systems.
The problem is, that it is unresponsive and clunky in a way that does not convey weight, weakness or struggle. Even the famed "tank controls" don't capture it, as even Soviet Interwar land battleships feels better to control.
The first game had the mentioned NES dna, and especially the later content was punishing as hell, but in a way that had you always active and in full control, a.i. you could dodge and could either fall to short or overshoot. In this one, your best "dodge" move is a casual stroll. Even the "run" is slower than the movement of the first game. 47 from the current Hitman franchise entry seems to be a sprinter in comparison (and that means something).
It might be, that a basic animation set can fix it, making the whole affair a bit more crisp; personally, I think the game also needs to be "speed up" or has to increase it mechanical depth to reach a satisfactory level, even compared to genre veterans like Parasite in the City or its very own precursor.

Otherwise, it is very much a SiniStar sequel, and the gallery is already starting to look good, I will stay with it, but a downgrade is a downgrade.
