Thanks for your review.Ok, I did not think I would find this kind of self-fellating gaming elitist over a hentai-game demo and while there is something to be said for most of the comment, from kinda retarded, over the mentioned self-fellating cringe to just weak takes, I want to keep it short and "constructive" I guess.
The game isn't hard. I finished it in 15 minutes, and that includes me checking if I missed content and systems because everything was in Japanese. The move-set is about as basic as you can get. Within the first 3 lvls of a Nintendo Advanced Rayman game, you will have about double the systems.
The problem is, that it is unresponsive and clunky in a way that does not convey weight, weakness or struggle. Even the famed "tank controls" don't capture it, as even Soviet Interwar land battleships feels better to control.
The first game had the mentioned NES dna, and especially the later content was punishing as hell, but in a way that had you always active and in full control, a.i. you could dodge and could either fall to short or overshoot. In this one, your best "dodge" move is a casual stroll. Even the "run" is slower than the movement of the first game. 47 from the current Hitman franchise entry seems to be a sprinter in comparison (and that means something).
It might be, that a basic animation set can fix it, making the whole affair a bit more crisp; personally, I think the game also needs to be "speed up" or has to increase it mechanical depth to reach a satisfactory level, even compared to genre veterans like Parasite in the City or its very own precursor.
Otherwise, it is very much a SiniStar sequel, and the gallery is already starting to look good, I will stay with it, but a downgrade is a downgrade.
Well, we have this "Enenut Mother" boss and "Enenut" monster with a little bit of tentacle content. Thanks for your review.
May I please ask how the tentacle content is?
Not at the moment but it is planned in the future, with some art previewed. Here is some of it, you can find more onAny pregnancy?
Thank you. Looks like I'll have to be patient a bit longer to play the first time, because that's the good stuff worth waiting for.Well, we have this "Enenut Mother" boss and "Enenut" monster, that have a little bit of tentacle content.
Maybe we`ll see some expansion in amount of scenes with these monsters, maybe we`ll see some new tentacle monsters.
At the moment tentacle content is

Absolutely. Some people in this thread are just making things up. The controls are not "unresponsive and clunky." The game has a remarkably responsive and tight control system. Jumping and movement flow really well, and you're never restricted to certain movements or actions by your current state, e.g. you freely control mid-air movement and even attack in mid-air. (This previously posted video says it all, and it doesn't even abuse the bow as much as it could:What's everyone on about? The controls are pretty responsive and this definitely isn't CastleVania levels of difficulty some people are making it out to be.
Ikr, my 3rd hand potato laptop can handle playing sinistar 1 and 2 with fast response and smooth whenever I input a command (albeit with the help of laptop charging) so whenever I see some people raving on like those karen videos, I just think to myself that they are lying idiots or playing with an older gen than my laptop. Also, I like the fact that the commands are simple enough to understand instead of requiring the user to have a phd in technologyAbsolutely. Some people in this thread are just making things up. I don't understand the excessive scrutiny platform and side-scroller games get on this site, while everyone else happily flies toward the next 3DCG text-only game that gets pumped out every week and floods it with 5-star reviews like it's the second coming of porn christ.
And this is clearly a game in development, like JPRacer said; we've already gotten confirmation that more magic is going to be added to the game. The basic attack having a short range is clearly an intended design decision. The game is clearly going for something specific here by making the melee attack weak but always available while your magic options are powerful but limited, and so far it's working. Just one look at how the boss design supports both melee and bow playstyles says it all. There's some actual thought and design going on here.
Ultimately, there's nothing wrong with a game choosing to have simple systems, especially not indie games made by single developers. If you can give that concession to the many simplistic yet highly rated VN games on this site, give it to the simple platformers too; there's no universal design philosophy for these things (Sinisistar 1 didn't require 50+ different skills or moves to be great), and we're starved enough in this genre as it is without people being needlessly critical.
