The assets look like village assets around the hub area. I guess we are fighting the nightmare version of it all over again like in the first game but as a proper dungeon.
When first time i fight the grave boss "fuck why so hard" And when i know the trick to savely use calibur without too much use mana "well this is to easy

Judging from the assets we see so far for the final dungeon, I'm going to bet it's not related to the village you start off at but rather somewhere else that has a similar aesthetic. Perhaps a lost sister village that has its own corrupted monastery?
Given we've been told Rabiane from the first game will return, I like to think this is where we'll find her, still thwarting evil?
... here's hoping she's not the final boss, at any rate. I don't think I want to see a plot twist where that poor woman failed to defeat the incubus at the end and or she's gone mad after being defiled over and over. I tried so much to keep her pure. x_x

I want that bad ending route, give me that bad ending route. I want to see the fruits of my labor be wasted into the ether, I want the girl I tried my darnest to survive in the previous game become the final boss. I NEED IT.
Hint: Zombification +1 speak with girl in church... There's your bad end for you (option to choose)
God i hope Rabiane just shows up to help us fight the final boss instead of being the final boss, subvert the dark fantasy trope

Err, I don't think the first game ended on a good note since the plot of the second game is due to literal demon/higher dimension babies being born and corrupting everything.
.....so....the final slug enemy actually won? Or was the evil clone, the final enemy?
Oh boi oh boi oh boi now we're back to the days of trying to explain the ending of the first game!
There was an ending? There was barely a story in the first place, not that it really needed one.

If I remember correctly, speculation pointed out that Rabiane was trapped in a dream like state after fighting the Priest Nightmare. Even the farm stage and the clone stage were supposed to be but part of her own nightmare. It would make sense given the 4 tries you get against the final boss before game over, Rabiane becomes the mother of a new generation of Abominations. However, the swamp baby of the second game was born in complete different cincumstances, just like the tutorial boss and the gravedigger, so a demonic infestation is more likely due to Rabiane being trapped or indisposed to complete the job of her fellow sisters.
There is also the fact that Kessaria and this village of the second game are different, so different outbreaks of the Abominations are a possibility, with the entire kingdom or whatever facing incursions from the horrors in different locations and the Sisterhood pretty much overextended as a result.
And wow, I just made all of this for a game that does not give a lot of information, kind of like this freedom given by the developers.

Personally I hope theres more pregnancy stuff like the nightmares and pig ending, and maybe a dog enemy that does a proper knot animation, but I'd feel bad requesting it. As is, I'm happy with what they're doing so far and will be buying it.
I just hope they release the full game on Steam this time.....dlsite has way too many hoops......
