    No Name of Names

Nennai 5 has done it again. I was a real big fan of the original SiNiSistar back in 2021 and was very excited about the sequel. Four years later, and imagine my surprise to see the full fucking sequel just dropped out of nowhere here.

The art is stellar from the background, portraits, sex scenes, and action. Although it has been a year or so since I've played the original SiNiSistar, the gameplay feels really good in this one and I would even say better than the original game.

The only complaints I can think of is that I hoped there would be more diverse game overs like the original. Don't get me wrong, there are many different game overs in this game, but it felt like he relied on the ol' "just have tentacles pop out of her body" in some parts a little too much. That's just a personal critique that I don't think takes away from the game at all and if anything, the only problem I have is that I can't wait for more from this developer.

TLDR: Great H-Game, Great Sequel, Great Art, and Great Gameplay.

Absolute gem, just like the original. It's not as long as I'd have hoped, but the quality is so high I think its justified. One of the only games out there that does guro/horror, and it does it so damn well. Gameplay is also super fun, albeit basic. Seems like there's really good setup for additional content as well.

Absolute fucking cinema, it's one of those games where the worst part of it is that it ends basically, the gameplay is fun but simple, the controls feel great and everything regarding its presentation is really good! yeah there's some guro in the game but it's pretty minor compared to the first game

Incredibly beautiful game that although difficult plays fantastically!
The backgrounds are varied and almost cinematic, with the locations feeling grimy to outright disgusting (In a good way)
The actual scenes are numerous and good, with you encountering a new enemy almost on every different change of location.
Controls wonderfully with feeling very smooth and accurate hitboxes and a good amount of difficulty for some added challenge.

Absolute kino, 8 hour playtime of non-stop beautiful pixel art of gothic architecture, lovecraftian abominations, and fleshy tentacles. Literal triple AAA quality, insane. Just on this basis alone you should play it.

Note, this is a guro game. Aversion to guro is basically the only reason why one might not want to play this game.

The much awaited sequel to the underrated Sinisistar, one could argue this is what Nennai originally envisioned for the first game yet he had neither the skill nor the budget to create half a decade ago. (Even if I still love the original for its own qualities!) Lemme explain.

The sequel pays great homage to the original, where encounters back then have returned in similar fashion and done better. This, however, is also the basis for my only real issue with this game, that being we don’t get many new monster types when you exclude familiar ones from the list. That said, the familiar encounters still look fresh enough that you can appreciate them regardless.

Much like the original, the sequel nails the atmosphere. You will not find a better adult game for the setting alone. The art direction is a step up from the original and it easily shines against soulless creations that use Esoteric Software's Spine 2D. If you’re not familiar with that name you will most certainly be familiar with the games that use it. Rarely do they exhibit the charm of classic pixel animation. Characters do not move naturally in them, which is why I hold games like Sinisistar in such high regard, where every move has weight, adding to the immersion.

The soundtrack is also a step up from the original, managing to tread new ground while also paying homage to some familiar tunes, which in all honestly sounds amazing when you realise what's about to go down when they chime in. Nostalgia done right! Huzzah!

Speaking of, the story is fine, though I was a huge fan of the original’s zero dialogue approach, which was perfect for a player’s imagination to blossom. For this reason I’m still of the mind the original handled the setting better, similar to Playdead’s LIMBO.

Combat has improved, though I was hoping for more weapon types. Despite this it’s still good for what we get and there isn’t really a need to make it complicated. By the time you face off against the final boss you have everything you need. Sometimes less is more, even if you want the latter.

Most boss battles in the sequel are certainly more involved than the original. They’re also far more challenging but that just makes their eventual defeat sweeter. I appreciate the deeper mechanics there and how some victories can only be obtained with new skills learned.

Now for the sexy content. It is a huge step up from the original. There's even less death, simply because...

If you’re a fan of pregnancy, you’ll be happy to know the sequel covers it a lot more, which isn't bad. Not so much for the protagonist...

If you’re a fan of Resident Evil 4's setting, wait till you reach the northeast village. Made me fall in love with Sinisistar's world again.

If you’re a fan of gore, I feel like the original handles it better. Once you’ve seen one decapitation you’ve seen them all, in regards to how the game depicts it with the side illustration. The blood is far too bright to take seriously but it looks fine with the pixel art.

That said, the world itself shows plenty of it and is better than the original. You encounter quite a few female victims on your travels and even get the chance to save a few, which is terrific. You actually feel like you're helping people, despite how grim things get.

I guess you could argue I wish there was more variation involved. No tentacle spitroasting? How tragic!

… still wish we got a werewolf encounter. This game’s brutal, albeit sexual, setting would have been perfect for one.

lol, ANYWAY. I think I’ve said enough. The wait was worth every penny. Support the dev and buy the game even if you downloaded it for free on this site. Nennai has given us something truly special here and it would be a shame if we didn’t give him something back.

2D action game is much harder to make than a regular novel or RPG so 99% of what gets released is cheap garbage. But this game just fell into that 1% of quality games that are worth trying.
Smooth animations, good gamedesign and balance. Most noteworthy is the atmosphere and stylized drawing, done at a high level, which is not ashamed to even put it on a par with the best platformers on steam.

18+ content is also on a high level, but I personally wish there were more hentai scenes instead of gore endings.

The downside, in my opinion, is that the potential for status effects is not fully realized.
I'd like to see status effects that change the perception and body of the main character. For example in the game there is only breast expansion and pregnancy and that's just awesome but all the other status effects just lead to gory gameover unfortunately.

Absolute cinema for monster fuckers everywhere. Gore is part of the package but easily ignored and doesn't impact the erotic monster vibe in this game. 10/10. Masterpiece. Going to go buy it to support the dev.

An excellent game, great game, good gameplay. It's actually a game that also have hentai and guro elements and not just a gallery collector. Highly recommended.

My only gripe with this game was that having created so much content, I really think they should have lengthened the game. Like the goblin caves should have been a longer, some parts are a bit too easy.

    Otherwise 5/5

The first game is a 5/5 horror platformer porn masterpiece, the sequel here is also a masterpiece. The H-scenes are, really messed up, and very well made low-res pixel art animations. There's lots of gore scenes too, you have been warned.

What makes this better than the last? Well, there's a few more combat moves this time, like the explosive arrow shot and the magical slicing attack.

In terms of gameplay, before starting remap the controls to your liking cause the defaults are really awful. Also, set run to automatic, no reason not to run ever, you have infinite stamina. There's lots of button mashing to break free as well, meaning all movement keys and all attack/jump keys mashed.
If you are having trouble with the challenging combat, turn the difficulty down.

Did I mention there's many boss fights? They are a bit tedious, but also very fun, each one has its own horrible well made H-scene as well.

There's some H-scenes where you get captured and abused, but later on you break free and recover, and you can repeat these sequences until you hit a gruesome game over death, check the gallery for hints on how to acquire these.

If you get softlocked with the key for the castle, just load someone's save, you can't fix that unless you start a new game, which is not worth it.

Hell, there's even controller support, the last game I remember doing this was Alien Quest EVE, another masterpiece.

SiNiSistar 2 is everything I wanted in a sequel, and then some. It takes the haunting, provocative aesthetic of the original and amplifies it in every way: richer visuals, deeper atmosphere, and an even more striking sense of mood and menace. The pixel art is gorgeous, the worldbuilding is tactile and oppressive, and the lewd content is as bold and salacious as ever, while being delivered in the best way I've ever seen from hentai side scrollers.

It never wastes your time. There’s no filler, only substance. New enemies and content continuously introduced. You're not expected to reload a save every time you want to experiment or see a scene.

I could easily see myself sinking 50+ hours into a game like this if it were stretched into something longer while somehow maintaining the quality. But that'd take a lifetime to develop and I understand how painstaking these games are to make. I deeply respect that. However, the world of SiNiSistar is so compelling, I never want to leave it.

    My only critiques are minor:
    1. Removing pregnancy requires fighting a boss every time. Would have been nice to skip that after the first time.
    2. Dying repeatedly to some bosses led to prolonged, unskippable game over sequences. Would have been nice to skip that after the first time too.

If you liked the original, this is an instant recommendation. And if you’re new? Keep in mind this is niche territory. Just be ready to fall into something strange and dark.

And for developers, even if you're not a fan of this genre or aesthetic, I'd argue this is required reading to understand how to make a good h-platformer.

We really don't get enough good sidescroller these days. So it's refreshing to get one.
Is it as good as the first one? Probably, but your milage may vary. I, personally, expected a bit more content, but what i got is still solid. Enough for an evening or 2.

Excellent game as the first, great pixel art, grat scenes, good gameplay, great stages but I think the first one is a bit better overall (maybe its nostalgia and that it had its dlc)
Spoiler: I dont get why people say this game bosses are hard, especially the last one, is a bit harder but you need one or two mana and hp potions and its really easy other than that the demi human scnes are my favourites and I think the scene quality falls off a bit after the village.
For how long I have been waiting I wish this game had more content It felt like it only had a bit more content than the first, when I wanted much more, but I guess its unrealistic

Guro games are a pretty damn niche genre, so its rare we get new releases in general, let alone new releases of this incredible quality. Not only is this a great guro game, not only is this a great porn game too, but this is genuinely a decent video game, especially in terms of art direction(not just the spicy stuff)

The amount of content vs the first game is massive with nearing on 100 scenes and a staggering 8ish hour run time.

I genuinely cannot recommend this game enough.

Anyways here's some nitpicks in case the devs do read this:

    - the lack of music is very strange. To me the first game had a pretty iconic and memorable soundtrack, yet here, even in boss battles, there was little to no music. Hoping this is a bug rather than a choice.

    - More climatic ending scene. I like that there's a post credit scene, but considering its probably the last thing most people will see, it being so short does suck a bit.

    - CG featuring woman besides the protagonist. Besides the one zombification scene early on, there are no CGs featuring other characters. Those, imo, are my favourite scenes due to the implicit tragedy of the protagonist failing not just herself, but another woman as well. That zombification scene, as well as any of the other scenes with Hanjaa(spelling?? idk) are easily my favorite and I hope they can be expanded in future.

Well designed game, amazing spritework, good selection of H-scenes with a very sexy VA. Of course it has a lot of gore and horror elements, so maybe not ideal for vanilla-lovers.
And I guess I need to write even more to fill the 200 characters, fine.

a stepup pixelart compared to the first game, more social interactions, more rpg elements, more eroguro, more disgusting elements, it just might be the best ero-game i've ever played period

my only complaint would be that the bosses are a bit challening, but that's to be expected from someone playing with one hand only

im kinda curious as to what kind of things the next updates are gonna bring, i'll be waiting for it

I don't have the habit of writing any reviews on F95, but this game is one of the best H game experience I ever had, what these devs have done in the art, design and gameplay is such A STRAIGHT evolution from the first, it's actually INSANE.

    Version 1.0.1
Everyone knew that Sinisistar 2 would be great... but no one really anticipated just -HOW- great.

Let me make this clear, I have never given an H game a 10/10 score before, but this time I think I will. Lets go into nauseating detail shall we? I will try to keep things spoiler free.

Narrative: While the first game kept it's plot rather ambiguous, this one gave a nice and specific story. We follow a fantasy narrative that provides plot elements that allow you to progress. It's not Shakespeare, but that's a good thing since we are here for the H content -first- and the story somewhere below gameplay. It is there, it's not intrusive, and provides good progression for the game.

Gameplay: The controls are a little less snappy than the first game, if only because the first game was less intensive than this one. Movement, cooldowns and fighting are tolerable, and better than most other side scroller games. What is important is that the combat is interesting -enough- to get you to the next area. Hidden content is pretty rare but does exist.

Visuals: Beautiful as always, and critical to the game. Beloved pixelart with some additions of simple 3d objects. It is absolutely the same style and aesthetic that we expected from Sinisistar. The monsters are monstrous, the ladies are beautiful and everything flows well.

H-Content: This game is fantastic with it's H-Content, and even has a "grotesque filter" for those not interested in the guro content. Taking the more ambiguous Sinisistar 1 and making it explicit clearly was a monumental undertaking but it was done very well. Tons of new monsters and plenty of ones you may remember from the first game given new life. Integration with a pregnancy mechanic was fantastic, and gave good reason to go back to prior areas to explore again. There is one scene not accessible from the gallery, you have to beat the game to get it.

Overall: Sinisistar 2 is to Sinisistar 1 as Megaman X is to Megaman. It is a quantum leap ahead in gameplay and doesn't just claim the crown of "best H game", it saunters up to the throne and takes it with a kiss to the crowd. The only game that truly competes with it is Thornsin, and after that, it's own prequel!

Buy (yes, buy) this game. It's 100% worth it, especially since the developer is dedicated to releasing more content for the game.

This is a very short demo, maybe about 30 minutes worth of fun at the moment. Honestly it was pretty good, you can't go wrong with a game about a nun getting raped by monsters, and this one has some satisfactory gameplay plus very good animations. The animations are hot, and if you die you can restart on the same screen, which is nice.

If you're a pervert like me, and you like the tags mentioned, you're gonna like this. I hope it becomes more popular

so its a good inprovement on the first game in both art and gameplay.
love the lovecraftian monster and the dark fantasy esthetic to the enviroment.
if we can get a full game on the same level of care then the demo this might turn out as a solit platformer akin to hollow knight
