I wonder what the highest count of status’ is, that you can get by playing the game, and still not being on a ”Game over”-screen. If no one has done the “research” I will do it maybe someday xD
Well, I did my own research and came up with a list. In total you can have 14 (+1 theoretically) (+1 that isn’t on the photo).Here is the list. The text below is me yapping about the “temporary” effects.
The only rules were, that its not a Game over and you get them without cheating. And it’s better to have one more status effect then to have a higher number (that’s important for the temporary effects).
The parasites/leech eggs and zombification are self-explainable. You can’t have more than those, or else you get a game over.
The cursed-seed is interesting, because in the description it’s stated, that you lose them when beating the boss. But somehow in replay-mode you still have them after beating the boss. But in the tentacle cave it’s different: There you lose the status “tentacle cluster” after beating the boss (Maybe it has something to do, that the tentacle cave is an area, while the tree-boss is just a rematch?).
The status “Womb crest” is self-explainable. I first thought that you lose a status effect (The blessing of infertility). But no: the status “The blessing of Infertility“ is just renamed with something down the line “Lost blessing”. So no status got lost.
When you ask, why there are two ”Mucus” effects: I don’t know, but I think its one “Mucus” for the leech eggs, and one for the tentacle eggs.
You get ”Enlarged breasts“ and “Lactation” from the item, but the ”livestock-parasite 1/2” only from the pigs.
Idk from where you get the effect “aroused”.
“Semen build up”, “pregnant” and ”defilement 10/10” are self-explainable.
And those are all the temporary status effects. But there are still some status effects you get for a short while. And, well… that’s where the “fun” begins for trying get the maximum of stati … To put it shortly: things like “petrification“, “small leech”, or the ”livestock-parasite 2/2” together with "further enlarged breasts” or even the “tentacle eggs” or “intoxication”, “slimed” are effects that you lose after a short while or after clearing the area.
I decided to put the new rule with the more status effects is classified as “more” than having higher numbers. Thats why i decided to get the finale status effects in the tentacle area. First i though about the pigs, because of “further enlarged breasts” but as it turned out: you lose the “enlarged breasts”-effect (it’s getting ’upgraded’), so you only gain the second number on “live stock parasites (2/2)”.
In the tentacle area you get the three status effects: “tentacle eggs (2/2)“, together with one more “mucus” (explained above) and it’s possible to get a “slimed” status effect too. But for that you need some RNG and i had no time to do this. Why RNG? After getting the second “tentacle eggs“ you play one random room. After that you give birth to the tentacle monsters (losing the “tentacle egg (2/2)” effect). So you need some luck getting in a room with slime on the ground or the ’slime-lake’.
And yeah, that’s all.
So when you count all the different status effects on the photo together you get 14 (if i havent misscounted). One Mucus is missing there, so you have 15. And then it’s possible to get “slimed” too: 16 in total.
16 in total (for some are temporar) is my maximum number of status effects Lelia can get without being in a ‘Game Over’ (still able to play).
