The game looks amazing but thats it. It has nothing more to offer.
To be fair I havent completed even half of this game, maybe it somehow gets better, but I see no point in wasting my time like that.
The story - doesn't exist.
Combat - prehistoric.
Fun? None.

It's a medieval apocalypse 2D platformer action game.

Gameplay is simplistic. You have 3 attacks and a jump. No dash, block, or parry. Your walking speed is very slow (even with "always run" enabled). You save and heal at checkpoints. There is fast travel, a map and a quest log.

The porn is classic struggle mechanic monster/tentacle hentai. The H-scenes are censored. Graphics are pixel-style with hentai CG portraits.
Lots of the porn is just bad endings. However not every loss leads to porn, sometimes your character just dies a horrific death. Kinda off-putting in my opinion.
At the same time, not every loss is a game over, in some cases the female protagonist just goes through an H-scene, gets inflicted with a debuff and then you can continue the fight, or she gets impregnated and teleported elsewhere in the area.
The consequences of losing are not consistent.
The pregnancy mechanics are weird. Either it just leads straight into a game over, or it is a debuff that you have to remove. Again, not very consistent.

This is not the kind of game where you go "let's just see what happens".
Granted, there are checkpoints, but losing on purpose is not worth the trouble. You clear an area without losing and then look at the loss-scenes in the gallery later - defeating enemies unlocks their gallery scenes.
Especially true for the area in which fast travel is disabled, since getting inflicted with debuffs from losing will make it much harder to get out of it.
There is also one scripted loss that is necessary for the main quest. I'm never a fan of those.
The game is kinda difficult towards the end, but not so much that I'd call it an issue.

The story is mostly irrelevant. As far as I know there is only one ending and it is very short.
There is a NG+ system, but no NG+ exclusive content.

All that said, the developer put a lot of effort into this game.
I'd give it 3.7 stars out of 5 if I could. It's okay.

Good game, However some scenes are too violent for the sake of being violent, gameplay is too easy at times, too difficult at others, great animations, one of the best 2d strollers out there, the story is pretty lacking though, i really like the animations with humans, they are very good, wish this dev made a normal game like that one day.

A really well polished game! It was fun, I'm not really into goro but I viewed it as an echi dark souls game and had a lot of fun. There are many scenes I still enjoyed as well, the animations/models/environments/music/story its all very high quality. I wish other games of this genre would implement gallery of defeated enemies; like they did in this game, it is a large quality of life feature. FYI omg and the final boss is actually really challenging it took me like 10 tries and i had maxed out everything and tons of potions xD

I think it's extremely silly that other reviewers decided to download a sequel to a guro game, clearly tagged as a guro game, then complain that there's guro. It’s like downloading Minecraft and complaining there’s fucking cubes everywhere.

Travel:

It’s a sidescroller with metroidvania-like elements, but not a full out metroidvania where you’re running laps around the world after every new skill or movement ability.

You really won’t need to retrace or backtrack. The game has a fast-travel system accessible at any time through the map screen (which some reviewers missed). If there is something you missed, like an ability-gated area or a path you didn’t explore yet, it’s still at most only 2-3 screens away from the nearest teleport.

Combat:

It’s fine, not amazing or bad, just functional. You can melee, uppercut melee, and downward slash melee while falling. You also have magic arrows which you’ll probably be using the most. The arc of the magic arrows is timing based, so once you get that down, it makes the game much more manageable.

The regular enemies don't really pose a threat unless you are swarmed by them which makes sense. The bosses provide a much greater challenge but are still balanced around your moveset, many providing ways to build up MP against to use your magic arrows.

H-content:

Fantastic art and animations. Sound is good, but the female protagonist's moans do repeat due to having a limited number of voice clips. Nice variety of content overall, but I do feel some scenes could have been longer.

Genre Rant:

I understand it is essentially unavoidable for a game with a female protagonist and h-content focused on rape and non-con, to have most of its h-content tied to the player being defeated or temporarily caught. There’s really not many options to deliver the h-content “immersively” otherwise without making it consensual. The game does manage to have two scenes that aren’t triggered by defeat, instead being done through the player’s dialogue choices, which is nice and I hope they add more.

That said, unlike many other games in this genre, the dev knew it would be stupid to force the player to purposefully lose just to unlock a gallery scene they missed. Instead, they made it so that the game unlocks all the h-scenes from a location after clearing it. A very good feature.

Conclusion:

Overall a well-made game with actual quality-of-life features. It delivers on what it promises, but it wouldn’t hurt for more content.

As a game, it's better than average (for this site) with a vibe similar to Salt or a 2D dark souls type game where everything is gritty and grimdark.

Unfortunately, the gameplay greatly overtakes the H-content, and since that's the content we're here for, that gives it a ding.

Another issue related to the H-content (for me at least) is there is a HEAVY emphasis on gore and death, which is a severe boner killer since I walk into an encounter thinking I might get some nice content only for the gallery to reveal that the only outcome is for the protag to be exploded or violently eaten with excessive amounts of blood and gore...which just sucks massively...for me at least since I am not the kind of person who is into snuff content.

The art is decent quality, but the content just repulses me, so the 2 stars is pretty much just for the fact that the gameplay itself is functional and not just a copy-paste style RPGM game.

One of the best unity games, on par with alien quest, even better. The only thing that annoys me is the constant updates (which is a good thing) and the little censorship, but the modders are already fixing it)

I loved the first game, and loved the 2nd one too! The gameplay is pretty easy and the H scenes are great! I recommend giving it a try!
The only thing I don't like is that some Hscenes aren't 'hscenes' at all, mainly just the MC being eaten or something like it. Though there is enough content to keep me satisfied!

I honestly don't understand the high ratings for this game. It must be caused by a massive thirst for an actual game in the desert of VNs. But objectively, this game SUCK as a platformer. It has the clunkiest, the awkwardest control system. MC moves like ass, cannot attack while moving, and has the dumbest weapon for killing monsters: a short stick, with an additional magic arrow with no coherent aim. And all the enemies are constantly locking her, forcing you to do that dumbest version of QTE, there you have to spam a button for 5 seconds only to get locked again by another guy.

The game is not difficult. Most of the bosses I've killed just by standing in a certain place and spamming attack. First miniboss is easily killed offscreen, by spamming arrows at the place where he is supposed to be. So the only difficult part is a control system, which is just plain bad.

Everything else is fine. The graphic, the atmosphere - it's OK. But this is a game, and as a game it sucks, so everything else, unfortunately, doesn't matter.

I've rage-quitted it 4 times, and every time I returned, hoping that maybe I should give it another chance, maybe further it will finally be normal. But no. No more. With all the engines available nowadays, platformers are the easiest type of game you can make, so this awkward mess doesn't have any excuse.

The perfect sequel to an already good H-game.

Did you already like/enjoy Sinisistar 1? This game is that but better in every aspect.

H-Scenes/animations? perfected.

Gameplay? Enjoyable, with better feeling and control than in the first game.

Lore? Even more! but, it is still uncertain if this games happen before, during, or after the events of the first game.

The sound is also great, and let's not forget about enemy design and gameovers.

Overall, this game is one of the most iconic H-games you will find out there, EVER.

This game is amongst the best combative H-game. With its gothic and brutal atmosphere and the monstrous enemies mixed with some taboo elements....
Not only is this game fun to play, but it also offers tons of erotic H-scenes with different types of enemies and bosses.
I would really hope a Sinisistar 3 would be developed or a spin-off. This game is absolutely great

+pregnancy is a mechanic and it is optional, but i recommend to activate it since it unlocks new scenes. there is no pregression, but there are varying pregnancy sizes in some game overs.

Fantastic game, fun gameplay, great lewd scenes, secret boss was challenging. I just want to see more if anything, apparently there's some more updates on the way too.
Hoping the modding scene takes off for this game. Seen some alternate skins floating around already.

Game is so good that I honestly didn't interact much with the H-content until I completely cleared areas. I am a big fan of difficult games so this was a fun mix of both challenge and gameplay. The exploration felt natural and even organic which is very rare for any lewd games I have found as I wanted to see where each path would take me before progressing the story.

The H-content itself is also nothing to scoff at as there's all the hallmarks of a standing image that takes damage and constantly shows the status of the protagonist - though I would of liked at least some customization options. I really enjoyed the art style as I love some good pixel art.

If you are into darker content then this feels like a no-brainer to play as it's essentially the cream of the crop. I typically never finish games, but I beat this in 2 days and that actually made me sad as I just wanted there to be more.

Like many have stated in their reviews: I too am not a fan of gore/parasites/insects; but let me tell you this: This is what a hentai game should be. Nothing but passion comes out of this game.

Peak animations, great character designs, amazing gameplay and level-design, very nice music, terrific ambiance.
Despite the fact that the majority of fetishes in the game weren't my most favorite, I was completely immersed in it and felt in love with how well-crafted this all was. You can tell the dev(s) really cared and it shows so much.

The game still has some flaws, in my opinion the fact that the MC could get pregnant was VERY hot but it happened too much past a certain point - I felt like it should've been treated as a rare occurrence that would make you go "oh shit". But since it keeps happening over and over, and that there's really not much interactions due to it (would've been hot to be able to give birth in the church or in a village home), it becomes annoying.

I also thought there weren't enough interactions possible with the villagers, I feel there's some wasted potential there - but I understand the dev(s) aren't that into human-on-human interactions, it's fine. Just a personal remark.

The difficulty is too easy, only the last boss made me sweat and that's more because I got stubborn at wanting to beat him a certain inefficient way more than anything - I wish there was a higher difficulty available!

Overall: I loved playing SiNiSistar2 - it was a very charming game with a ton of positive aspects to it that completely made up for the little negative I found. A game that was made with love, and that seduced many people who weren't into the main fetishes of the game: says a lot about its quality!

This game is good, the art is stunning and kinda remind me of octopath traveler. Me being a pregnancy enthusiast, it helped that this game had a few of them here and there, tho i wished there were more (but thats a personal preference). The design for the mc is good.
Now i have some complaints, nothing to important but i think it should be addressed. First, its short. due to how beautiful the game is, its understandable that its length aint that much to speak off, but it doesnt help that this game isnt very replayable.
Also the cathedral section felt a bit lackluster. there are barely any h-scenes compared to a section like the pig house.
the final boss, while looking cool is a bit annoying to fight but at least it had some good alt defeat scenes.
Now i hope a future update add stuff to this lackluster ending cuz it felt really disappointing.

all in all, i recommend this game

I've played their past games before, and they were pretty solid. This new game however, chief kiss. Of all that games they've made this one is probably the best they've done. I hope they continue to make games like this.

combat works exactly how it's supposed to and the Defilement mechanic is something every side-scroller H-game should copy(or improve on) from now on. In too many of these games you either lose intentionally to get the scenes because it's too easy, not in here, if you fuck too many times, you'll get fucked but literally this time. A H-game that understands it's a game.
