It's just a black screen and a cursor that duplicates itself whenever it moves. Can someone help me or is it really just that?

It's currently possible to get locked into the Emily's room if you close the door behind yourself when you go to steal from her purse while she's home. Need a key to open the door, and the MC can't use the Wait option because "I shouldn't be here."
And I also noticed that where stealing from the purse used to be instant, it now requires a little mini-game of "hover your mouse over the item, click, then wait around for ~10 seconds," adding even more time not doing the fun stuff (EDIT: Just read that this is currently an incomplete system because in the future Emily will have the ability to catch you stealing nvm, it does work, as i just found out firsthand...I don't think that sounds engaging to anyone, especially not with how long the game takes to actually get get going currently).
I'm just gonna reiterate what I said before: anything that gets in between the player and the actual game (massages/strip searches/groping/prostitute visit/whatever else is planned in this area) needs to either be drastically reduced (I appreciate that personal stats decrease much slower) or eliminated.
I think it's fair to compare SinStory to Orc Massage. OM puts very little between the player and the massages. You're not simulating the orc's daily wake-up routine or balancing his checkbook or even walking around. A little plot and tutorial, then it's pick girl -> massage -> get sexy times if you're at the right level -> score/cash -> buy upgrades -> [optional *fun and quick* little mini-game to get more cash if you need it] -> repeat.
If you want SS to be more simulation, then OK. But it still needs to not feel like a waste of time and cumbersome to get to the game the player came to actually play.
(EDIT: And now the porn channel on the TV costs $169 to unlock? If this is supposed to be a simulation, why would he even care about the TV when he has a laptop and an internet connection, meaning all the free porn he could want? Come on, this isn't fun.)
(EDIT 2 - final for the day: "Because you exited the scene, you got no XP" from the hooker's blowjob, that is actively wasting the player's time. Come on.)
