if you played it before, delete any save you have and delete the folder from appdata, then install it from beginning should work.

Never played the Deluxe version only regular version so the only folder that shows up is Sissy_Maker_Full. Im not gonna delete my hard earned save since theres no Deluxe folder. I get the crash screen;

If Anyone is having troubles with v1.6.0 like I have, just download update v1.7.0 who user "thatfucker" is sharing since the thread hasn't updated yet as of today and it doesn't have "The Game Crashing As Soon As You Start" Issue. The reason v1.6.0 crashes is because the Game Folder in AppData > Local > sissy_maker_dx is never created, but as soon as I downloaded and played v1.7.0, the game starts working as intended as the game folder is created where is supposed to be. I haven't played far in the game, so I can't tell you if there's any problems after the 1st in-game day.

Yep...Unfortunately it's happening to me now too. It was working when I downloaded v1.7.0, but now it's happening all over again. Man, this sucks...

I just found out that v1.8.0 just came out. Here's what it comes in this new update:
I know this is going to sound like a conspiracy theory, but I think that with every new update, the previous version becomes obsolete, Literally as it becomes unusable. Maybe it has a kill switch with every new update? I came to this conclusion when v1.6.0 was working, but suddenly it stopped; I downloaded v1.7.0 and it was working until today when cerberus666 pointed it out. If anyone downloads v1.8.0 and it starts working; then the next update shows up (which is going to be v1.9.0 possibly) and v1.8.0 stops working, it looks like this "Conspiracy Theory" actually is real and we need to update in order to keep playing. But who knows, I certainly don't...
