I don't agree with everything nexus has done but banning someone outright saying they are using pirated software isn't ridiculous, Nexus is a business, a business operating in the UK which is not a piracy friendly country they cant openly allow it even if they wanted to and I would bet many of the staffers over the years don't personally care about users pirating games.

They are also not the only site to do this in the EU/US area if your country doesn't care about piracy good for you but the UK is not one of them, anyone criticizing nexus for this is just someone who doesn't like the nexus to start with and using whatever they cant to trash them which is petty. This rule is not new at all so anyone banned for saying they are using pirated copies only has them self to blame.

Hold nexus accountable for valid things they do, not for having to follow the jurisdiction of the country they are based in.

I just want to say that some of you are really using some stupid reasons to defend this as if i pirating a single game bankrupted a whole company or as if nexus wouldn't have acted on this all authorities would find out and they would have been sued or something, no none of this would have happen i made stupid comment saying I'm dating a fit girl under a really old mod (not skyrim) and nobody cared for the past two years but now suddenly I'm banned, also they expect me to send them a picture of my steam library to prove i have the game legally or buy it now to send them to get unbanedd as if nexus directly takes order from the game company i pirated, it's so stupid.(are nexus admins in this thread?)

Whos defending them? I gather people are saying don't openly discuss things that are bannable/illegal that's like smoking weed at 17 in front of a police station (in usa in rural alabama), what do you think will happen? Surely nothing and you can go about your day. Im sure whatever you said happened to you is true, seems weird though.

So the comment you made wasn't even for a skyrim mod but something else? Why are you rambling about it in a skyrim thread then?

Alot of us don't like nexus here but we know better than to say something in their forums that'll get us removed from using their site. Don't give them a reason to sniff out a possible ban. Its simple as that.

What kind of proof do they want? Just a screenshot? Not a link to your Steam account? Then you can try to fake it. If the game is also on EpicGames or somewhere else where it's not possible to view other people's profiles, that's even better.

Are you using uBlock by any chance? If so, try disabling it. For some reason, it blocks downloading archived files from Nexus sometimes.

Are you using uBlock by any chance? If so, try disabling it. For some reason, it blocks downloading archived files from Nexus sometimes.

I tried without Ublock but it fails. MO2 just throws an authentication error and the manual download link for some reason also get re-directed to M02 and fails.

If you can run it and are competent in the use of both BodySlide and OutfitStudio UBE is unmatched in my opinion, it does require a substantial commitment to learning how the toolkits and pathings for both apps work, how to properly apply weight, as well as a good grasp of XEdit and Merge Plugins. I made a lotta mistakes but for anyone interested the “ultimate doings” discord has some awesome tutorials and links, shoot me a message and ill invite ya if needed!
