RPGM - Completed - Slave’s Nightmare [Final] [USHIKANIGASSEN]

• Gameplay is great, there's interactable and you need to figure them out. I just hate the labyrinth thing(my skill issue).
• Narrative is great too, the character interactions felt on point.
• Art is excellent, It's clean artstyle despite showing horrible things done to them, the expression are just great.

The game concept of sneaking around was refreshing in a way, but it does get repetitive, especially since it's always the same labyrinth. The CG is very well-made in my opinion and there are lots of scenes. I was able to beat the game achieving the good end in about one hour or so but if you keep getting caught on purpose the game time extends by quite a bit. You can also just watch all the scenes after achieving the good end from the main menu, so I guess that's good if you don't want to replay everything!

A very simple "walk up to the interactable" game with only one stealth map.
If you want the full clear on the title screen, unlock the good end which is very easy upon learning the jewel box passcode and the gate password (neither of which changes between games).

The art is where this game shines. There are 10-ish scenes each with its own progression and 6 hentai endings, as well as a h-status body view to see the f-protag's degradation. Speaking of endings, getting a bad end gives you the option of restarting from before the end with the scene then unlocked for rewatching. So go nuts scene hunting and if you ever miss something the memory viewer tells you how to get that scene.

TLR - Game has a very straightfoward gameplay of "interact with everything" and the artwork is great. And to the Pregnancy Lovers, it's only in 3/6 of the bad endings.

This game reminded me to something...

There are two kinds of decent porngames;

The ones that work pretty well as games, even if you aren't really into the fetishes that this game caters to (case in point: Futaring).

And the ones that work really well for their fetishes, but otherwise kinda fall flat.

...and Slave's Nightmare falls in the second category. I actually kinda regret that I have to say it, because clearly a lot of work has gone into this game.

The art is excellent, and the process of how the protagonist is gradually psychologically broken is done very well. If that would've scratched my itch, this game would have gotten the full 5 stars from me.

But like I said: mindbreaking and rape/abuse doesn't really get me going - so I mainly looked at the gameplay. And that seemed interesting initially, because there's stealth elements and I love a good stealth game.

Therein lies the rub, though. The stealth elements are there, but they're pretty barebones. There's few areas to explore, and the stuff you can do is limited. You're probably going to feel pretty railroaded, especially before exposing yourself as a woman. In fact, you actually have to reveal yourself as a woman - and get gangraped because of it - in order to progress the game. You can bypass this by remembering the gate password and jewel box passcode from an earlier playthrough, but then you also skip like 80% of the game.

Seeing protagonist Noah and another girl fingering eachother in one of the preview images made me hope that there'd be some optional lesbian romance in this game (like in Claire's Quest) - but that's not the case either. That scene certainly isn't bad, but it's still coerced sex rather than anything even remotely sweet or consensual.

The writing in this game is generally decent. Though there's one glaring flaw in that Noah initially gets mistaken for a man, and that her captors don't notice until she goes out of her way to show them.

I mean... look at her. Those thighs. Those tits. That half-exposed see-through bodystocking she's wearing under her armour. She is in no way masculine or androgynous-looking - she has plenty of womanly features, and they are plain to see.

I like Noah's look and character design, but this "I'm crossdressing as a man and nobody noticed until I revealed myself"-plot is bullshit with a character who looks like that.

So, the verdict?

If you're into mindbreak and forced sex, this game's got your back.

But if you want a decent stealth game with a side of porn? Forget about this one and look up the Barony Sengia games instead.

other than that this is just basic PRGM action , no more no less !

This game is perfect for those who enjoy the Pregnancy and Delivery genre. The storyline is quite ordinary as you play as a woman who will be destroyed by every encounter with villains in the game. The visuals are better compared to other games with the same theme, and this game clearly depicts the player's physical condition through X-ray imaging of the entire body. It's suitable for people who focus on scenes rather than storyline. The game system is also similar to most RPGM games available here.
