NTR is the umbrella term, from it comes Netorare (the acronym is mostly used for this one), Netori and Netorase. NTR is somewhat used interchangeably but it is usually followed by the distinct derivative that corresponds to the subgenre in some game stores and/or forums.

Netorare is where you as the MC have your loved ones taken away.
Netori is where you as the MC take the loved ones from someone else.
Netorase is where you as the MC set it up so that your loved ones have sex with other people.

If all three terms were used in the tagging system this would be much easier to differentiate.

For example, people who will not touch NTR with a 2 foot pole can be fine with and even greatly enjoy it when the MC is the one stealing peoples bitches.

It doesn't make sense to tag this NTR. The closest we can get with the limited tags here is cheating.
