I know, so has everyone
But I have the game scripted, am hacking my way through Renpy and am cooking renders like it's going out of fashion to start slotting in the code.
My question is more about development process in respect of releases. I'm thinking of something like:
.1 Development of GUI and character models (not for release)
.2 Initial prologue/complete small chapter for feedback on GUI, models and gameplay mechanics (release)
.3 Act on feedback
.4 Revised prologue/complete chapter (release)
.5 final amendments
.6 Final release of prologue/chapter.
Thereafter release complete chapters of the game as it progresses. So no dead ends or stalls, each further release being a complete game. Albeit one that gets bigger each time it's updated.
Does that sound a reasonable approach?
