So, why the hate on NTR?

Been curious about this. There are a lot of extreme kinks that people will tolerate, some real depraved stuff, lets be real with ourselves, unconsciously degenerate.

Yet A LOT of people seem to draw the line at NTR. I can definitely understand having preferences, I myself avoid overtly l*li and sh*ta contnet, (honestly don't know how games with those tags get uploaded given site rules, but there another story entirely) and I can't say I'm a fan of NTR, but NTR seems to be the tag/kink I see the most revulsion for. Pregnant Gang-Rape Guro? Nary a peep. That game has one single NTR scene? Absolutely seeing people prickle at it in the thread.

I can't say I really understand the hate for that one particular trope. I totally understand avoiding a game that's primarily NTR, but it doesn't seem uncommon that someone will pass on the entire game is there is minor, but unskipable, NTR content.

What's up with that?

Because the majority of people have been NTR'd in real life.
Aren't like 25% to 33% of married men raising kids that they think are theirs but aren't? That combination of believing the kid is yours but it isn't is what makes all the difference here.

This statement just opens this entire thread to a debate that's gone on too many times to count. I could follow up with the statement that cheating is not NTR unless the person puts up with it to some degree. If one immediately ends relationship then it is not NTR, it is just cheating and the consequences.

Edit: Imagine that scene in your favorite ntr game, the reveal that the LI is trying to cuck the MC and the MC just...leaves. "Later bitch."

That's a hell of a statistic to make up right off the top of your head.
I'd have to look it up again. Could also be that does include men who defintely know or strongly suspect that the kid isn't his but pretend like all is normal.

Don't worry, . Your original statement is misleading because yeah, the 33% comes from numbers where the man was already in doubt and demanded a test. In those cases up to 33% were right and 67% found out...Oh shit, the kid's actually mine.

Studies ranging in date from 1991 to 1999 quote the following incidence rates: 11.8% (Mexico), 4.0% (Canada), 2.8% (France), 1.4% and 1.6% (UK), and 0.8% (Switzerland). These numbers suggest that the widely quoted and unsubstantiated figure of 10% of non-paternal events is an overestimate. However, in studies that solely looked at couples who obtained paternity testing because paternity was being disputed, there are higher levels: an incidence of 17% to 33% (median of 26.9%). Most at risk were those born to younger parents, to unmarried couples and those of lower socio-economic status, or from certain cultural groups.
Edit: Also, what the fuck Mexico?

Another NTR talk? Great...

To make a long story short, one side likes getting cucked, other side doesn't. Cucking is more likely to be added to a game than say, Scat, Piss, Guro, Beastiality, or something else. Combine that with some devs who did add it, and you got one side who's anal about making sure there's no NTR.

Problem is, sometimes they go too far and end up demanding no NTR when the game fucking says it. Or they use NTR to mean ANY SEX that is not with the protagonist, even if the LI is not dating them. (Note: In Japan, NTR essentially means any type of cheating designed to cause jealousy.)

Personally, while I don't like it, I don't really get all gung ho about it. As long as it's foreshadowed, i'm fine with it. I only get pissed when it's suddenly shoved in.

because ntr triggers some insecure guys, emotionally wounding them. it's different from something you dislike or are disgusted by which you can just ignore and move on from. so, to protect their fragile egos, these insecure guys lash out at everyone not being as vulnerable as they are, calling them sick or cucks. case in point:
It doesn't add anything aside from being ntr bait for mentally sick individuals with a cuck fetish.
they are pitiful, scared boys

Dude, You're not insecure for not wanting to get cheated on. They don't like that fetish, it's as simple as that.

It's not not wanting to get cheated on that he's commenting on. It's the lengths people go to on public forums to expound on it, expand on it, complain about it, avoid it, and reassure themselves about it. Kind of like what you are doing now.

Fair. I think i just misinterpreted that. Whenever I hear stuff like what he said, it's usually in reference to the works with it, not the context around it.

no... this thread is not about "like". it's about the hate. didnt you understand a word of what i said? i explained why it's deeper than just disliking something to SOME guys. not wanting to get cheated on in real life doesn't mean you are insecure. not everyone breaks down into an emotional wreck because some fictional dude in a game looks at your fictional girlfriend. but these insecure ntr haters do.

I think I just misunderstood what you were getting at.

I brought up a similar point with my argument. How some idiots will use NTR to mean any sex without the protagonist. We're basically on the same page.

I only got distracted because some of the more annoying NTR fans used that same word. "Insecure."

New poster makes a thread about NTR, doesn't actually contribute, just makes thread and leaves.

Bunch of posters play the "its the other guys are the real losers" arguments. Guys, your on a sex game website, don't project and don't fall for such obvious troll bait.

yeah, well, cant blame them. they use it for a reason.
That depends.

Some Ntr haters are annoying, but some of the NTR fans have this weird superiority complex

1 Particular Example
スクリーンショット 2025-04-30 080011.png

Personally, I just wish they would simply say, "I like it" and leave it that, instead of pulling the same shit NTR haters do and assume shit about the other person.

(Also, they're writing about how NTR enhances the story... I don't know what fucking NTR they've been watching cause most of them have fucking awful storylines.)
(Second Note, the comment below this shares my view... Unfortunately.)
