Sobo to Boku is a real gem, if we are talking about VN's by Appetite (the dev), and there are 2 main reasons for this: The first is that VN's with a grandmother heroine (meaning H-scenes) are stupidly rare. The second, is that said grandmother, is also the protagonist of the story (it's her POV). Nothing short of a stroke of inspiration, and as expected they made similar titles after this one, but the first really stands out.
Positive:
- Lots of H-scenes; Grandmother tag is a win; Different (but welcome) take on main tags; Grandma's POV (she is somewhat conflicted, and the option to say no exists); Grandpa is around ("extra" secret affair); Grandma doesn't look 60, but they gave her some wrinkles; Characters fit their roles, have an acceptable dynamic; Setting is appropriate, with countryside house, retired couple, and summer vacation.
Neutral:
- Voice Acting - Really depends on what you expect, of a 60 year old woman moaning BGV (preconceptions). Needs further investigation.
Negative:
- Art style needs work; Grandma's body is way too hot (a strange negative, but you know what i mean); Technical side of things is weak.
Score: Sobo to Boku is a 7/10, and a good VN. This is clearly a hidden gem, that is probably having a hard time shining, on account of dev's reputation for "infinite copy-pasting". If you ever felt like having some grandma on your porn, this will work very well.
