More like one year and an half, if I am right last time the game got an update, was in his first release ever in November of 2022.
After that it seems the developer kept updating his patreon with previews containing videos and images.

Tried this out and to be fair, I think it's interesting concept. The scope is definitely HUGE and therefore I'm not quite sure if it's realistic or not. It definitely feels like a good game if complete, but might be a pain during the development especially considering we can't really tell yet on how much time is really needed to develop the game.

IMO, dev is always free to do what they want with their game. It might look like "pointlessly prolong development" to you, but they don't have any hard deadline to hit at all. If dev wants Portuguese voice acting for their game, I have no problem with that. It's not like development of the game must completely stop while waiting on the voice acting?

I get it that you're upset that you don't get quicker development of the porn game you like, but I'm definitely not expecting any AAA development from a developer with 35 patrons.

Ah I see, thank you for informing me better. I'll let the devs of other games know that they should already finish full games in two years. Once they know Jose Canseco thinks some of them are really lazy and slacking that they haven't finished theirs after more than 5 years, they'd probably speed up.
