RPGM - Completed - Sodora City [Final] [Tinboy]

Way too much walking around. And the Work Mechanic is terrible. With more work it could have been good. The gif that was chosen are nice, for example it is just to much grind, to much walking around. and the ways are way to long as well.

Great ntr game which is enhanced by using hacks to get rid of the grind. Can be finished in about 5 hours, and has a really good slow burn story and progression system except at the end when it feels a bit rushed, but other than that highly recommend.

Minuses:
- Game use that pity game engine. I usually skip all the games on this engine, but decided to give it a try this time since there are interesting genre tags. But it still sucks, i just wish this game engine were never made so people can spend their creative energy on a really good games;
- Game requires ABSURD amount of grinding. After you are locked in cage you can grind a 30 days of going to monotonous work and still have troubles beating first monster which blocks flow of the plot. The pills that are supposed to help you by boosting stats has almost no visible effects in dmg dealt/taken.
- There is no option to skip popup video scenes so my game just hangs at one of the videos and i can't go past it;
- Too big city with too few interactions; just a huge space of nothingness, and you are required to pass through it dozens of time! (is it grind RPG game or sex game?)

Plus:
- An interesting plot with sph/cuckold/chastity and a cute girlfriend, that tries to be warm and supportive on this path. The plot evokes a feeling of realism, captivates (if you can get past the grind).
I would say that the idea of why the main character is locked in a chastity cage does not seem hackneyed. Although it is difficult in this genre, the author tried to come up with something original, and he succeeded.

Conclusion:
An interesting and fresh sph/cuckold/chastity plot hidden behind annoying grindwall. Game should be repacked with cheat engine or with saves with hacked money/stats. Terrible disgusting game engine that i totally hate.

I really like this game a lot... Although it's strange because there are certain things in it that I don't like too much but... It's not something that completely takes me out of the experience because the things that the game has that I DO like, I feel that they surpass the ones that I don't like...
First the bad things:
The screen freezing. It's an absolute pain in the ass... I did what certain comments recommended of using Windows compatibility mode to run it (search those comments if you want to ressolve the issue) and It worked for me, but sometimes it failed and I had to repeat scenes with videos from the beginning... It's very annoying and happens from time to time... Also, the grinding... The game is very, VERY grindy... And it could even be exasperating... I used the cheat engine because I got tired of the grinding, but the fact that indoors you move much slower is something that It's also quite annoying...
Well, for me those are the only bad things (objectively speaking) that the game has... To solve these problems, you can use RPGMMV's cheat engine and that's it... So I'm not going to let it affect in the review score

SPOILERS about the game:
Now the good things (mixed with things that I didn't like):
I wasn't very convinced that from the beginning it is obvious that your girlfriend is always cheating on you even though we (kind of) never see it... But little by little I liked more how they mixed this with the "cuckold" plot so to speak... Personally I don't like this whole chastity cage thing... It's what I dislike the most about the game, but I really like how it is in tune with the girlfriend plot... She was already super unfaithful to you, but this "cuckold" thing was an excuse for you to now see her being unfaithful with (kind of) your permission... And the truth is, I liked that a lot
It's an interesting way to build an NTR story... Because there are many moments of humiliation that are great, like when your girlfriend blowjobs someone else in front of you, or gives some other guy a handjob... Or a friend of hers comes to fuck her... Or from time to time they go to MC's house so that his girlfriend can fuck someone else... And the MC doesn't like this too much, but he doesn't dislike it either... This is also something that I personally liked a lot... I also liked the fact that your girlfriend doesn't really care if you like what she is doing or not... I mean, even before you agreeing to all of this, she was already cheating on you... There are some scenes in which we see here really caring about the MC liking what he is seeing or not... But usually, she just cares about fucking with other dudes and I like that a lot... I personally don't like when the FMC is always like... Wanting the MC to like what she is doing... I like it more when she does it anyway even if her BF doesn't like it. There is a situation in which she refuse to suck another man cock because the BF don't want to do that... But then the "lover" said to her that before that moment he spoke with the BF and the BF was fine with her blowing the lover... And just like that and without asking she started sucking him... It was very hot. I also don't like stories where the MC knows what's happening and is completely okay with everything and super happy... So seeing the protagonist react that way when his girlfriend fucks another guy was something I really liked... I also like how the developer of this game handles the humiliation through these things... The only thing I don't like about the game at all is the whole chastity cage... It's a personal thing, I really don't like that kind of thing
The game uses real porn, but I find the scenes very hot because of the type of situations that are built to get to those scenes... Anyone could say "to play something with real porn, I'd better go watch porn..." Well, you could, but it wouldn't give you the same feeling... BECAUSE here HOW the situations are constructed matters the most, and it's very hot... It's simple, but very hot
Furthermore, I also loved (when they are organizing the wedding) that the stepmother practically agrees with the MC's girlfriend being a slut who is unfaithful to the MC... It gives you that feeling that she always knew and knows that the girlfriend always fucked other guys behind MC's back, but she liked this or something... And it was super hot to see the girlfriend kiss the MC's stepmother like that when she sees her... If the developer makes another game in the future, it would be great if he did something like this again

The main reason I really liked this game is... It doesn't take itself too seriously. I mean, I don't like it when an NTR game is super serious and you feel super bad... Personally I think the best way to enjoy an NTR is when it's not really serious... I'm not saying I want it to be a comedy or parody (like the "lovelorn sanatorium" games) since at least some story is needed to get us interested in the characters AND in the NTR situations, I mean that the games just know that they are games and must be funny... And that's why I think this game does something new and that I consider innovative in the NTR field, plus it is a very good NTR game in my opinion. I look forward to seeing more works from this author (with real porn, if possible) because I loved this game

I would give it a 5 star if it didnt have the freezing images bug that happens sometimes. Just save often, like a bethesda game on first day of release

Other than that its an awesome game if you like a specific type of cuckolding. The girlfriend is lovingly dismissive and kindly dominating. Humiliating and cheating the boyfriend like its perfectly natural. The boyfriend is oblivious and adoring of his girlfriend, seemingly willing to accept any condition. There is humor in the way these behaviors are exagerated.

So if that sort of fantasy is something you might like, the tone is perfect.

Honestly a good bit of content!
The video freezing issue should get fixed as it is very annoying, but I am willing to cut some slack for a new dev.
Hopefully you will keep improving the game and we get to see updates on a regular basis.
Combat could be slightly more diverse and busses at better locations thou.

Sadly, this one is one of the worst game on the site. Its not about ntr genre or story of the game. its all about mechanics. ill cut short. game is freezing on some videos, gameplay is so bad... really bad.. u need to defeat the monster to progress more. its so repetitive and gets very boring . if u remake this game with less grind and less buggy game ill delete this review and write new review about it.

For this game to stop being horrible and become something good, the developer must re-make many choices.

Cons:
1 - The bug that freezes images makes the game unplayable.
2 - Low resolution images are horrible to view on high resolution monitors.
3 - The maps are big, empty and hostile to the player, I understand that the game is under development and the developer needs space to work, but why is the apartment entrance at the opposite end of the map exit? The game is made of repetition and this repetition is only made worse by wandering aimlessly between maps.
4 - The player's slow movement speed indoors is extremely annoying!
5 - The lines in the scenes are too short, in a game whose main theme is Netorare and Cuckolding, the greatest sexual tension comes from the dialogues and descriptions that make the images of the sexual scenes even sexier, this game needs more dialogues and better descriptions.
6 - In the game's story and gameplay, many opportunities are missed, the girlfriend is already within the political party since the beginning of the game, we don't see her accept the ideas and become corrupt, the boss at work is not used very well and is forgotten from the introduction, the work has nothing new for a good part of the game and becomes extremely boring.
7 - Combat at work shouldn't be one fight but rather 3 consecutive fights, both increasing the money the player can get and the difficulty without the player having to go back to the apartment to sleep and go back to work again...
8 - The combat itself must have some kind of rework, something that makes it more fun, new skills and items, equipment, classes, etc. There is a huge missed opportunity here.
9 - The game needs many more events in the world! I loved the ones that were made, but I still see no reason not to use the bus and just pursue the main objectives.
10 - The game needs the following:
Choose between being able to see only Big Black Cock or Big White Cock images.
Choices that make sense, that matter within the story.
A way of playing the game to spend the money the player earns from working, etc. Maybe a "happiness" bar from your girlfriend, which you have to buy clothes, take to dinner, do housework, etc.

I loved the game, but the problems it has make it unplayable and it's a shame that such a good idea isn't developed in the way it deserves.

It was bland and one of my biggest gripes is the lack of choices. I mean what's the point of giving me 2 choices and then making it so the game fails if I say no? just continue the scene instead of making me go back and replay the mid and slow content.

For stuck videos people are getting, simply go into the \SodoraCity1_0_0pc\www\movies folder, then locate and delete the video which is getting stuck (can set folder view to large icons to make it easier to find the video). I only had to delete two or three videos throughout the playthrough so it isn't too bad, your mileage may vary.

This game is seriously bad the NTR is due to the short nature of the game not really developed.
For a scene heavy game (you land on specific tiles than a scene plays) there are barely any scenes. The scenes are also really generic.

Save your time and don't play the game it isn't worth the time

Really liked the game, so much content for an initial release. Consistant videos as most videos are that of redheads. What i like to see is sluttines and cheating by fmc and this one delivers plenty. I like the current story line and hope wedding followed by a gb. I would have liked to give 5 stars but there is the problem of dome videos getting stuck , so you have to save often and play the scene again. Also little bit running around as all rpg games, theres a bus to reduce that but it could have been parked in front of house and work instead of little bit away.Hope the developer continues to make updates and become more proficient.
