ngl when I first seen the previews I thought that was Nicole Watterson (AWOG) with a Jinx (Pokemon) mouth. I wasnt even gonna question it either (as per the instructions in the description).

It's insane how customizing the characters color can be considered character creation. Such lies and false advertisement.
Hey! You're ignoring that you can also change the shine (specularity), wetness (the slider with the sweat like texture), and skin translucency (subsurface light scattering)! AND it's separate for general body parts and nipples/genital parts!!!

But being serious now: It's a initial release. Can we just appreciate the tech demo and hope it gets better as it goes? Why bash it harshly straight away? Not every game needs to be 100% feature complete from the get go, especially small projects not properly funded like porn games.

The fact you can change colors, and genital model, to me at least counts as a somewhat crude initial customization options. It's not Baldur's Gate 3 character customization, but it also is not a 1.0 release nor has a multi million dollar company and dev workforce behind it.

Just be patient and appreciate what is done so far.

>dev makes a tech demo physics toy (Soft Buns), then abandons it immediately
>makes a text game, something they view as "more important"
>runs a poll asking people what they want more of
>results show people almost unanimously want more of Soft Buns
Makes me wonder what's going through the dev's mind right now. Far as I can tell, the poll has 11 votes so far; ten are for Soft Buns, one is for that new text game.
Zero votes for stories, zero for continuing art, zero for animations. Imagine knowing you've been working on various comics and other content and literally zero people care, only wanting more of your basically-abandoned physics toy game thing.

If I were that person, I would try to see it as "well, it seems there's more people doing text/art than interactive sex games... maybe I should try improving the one I made since people liked it", instead of "well, people are oversaturated with what I like doing (text/art?)... shame."

But since most people does all that stuff as hobby, or out of sheer curiosity to see just how something turns out, I get why most get abandoned. It's sad because it's another one of many projects that could maybe become something way bigger, had potential. But it's understandable, logic.

edit: plus all the comments/people with the "what the fuck is this shit?!" hurt a lot too probably, when you spent time and effort trying something. Something ,something, vocal minority, etc...

That's how it seems to be with nsfw game developers. I see a lot of good ideas and concepts that die as a demo because the dev didn't want to commit to finishing it when VN slop is easier. Seeing this gold in the rough project through would lead to a lot of popularity because there's so little of this niche stuff out there, and hell it might even work towards a release on Steam.

The problem is ultimately this. Very few of them seem to have the will or interest in turning the one project that garnered a following for them into a proper game because it requires a lot of time and taking a risk. They just don't want to commit to the long game, they don't want to take that risk when it's easier to keep producing VN/RPGmaker titles, even though the entire world is very very fed up of them. Someday they'll get the memo and take a little pride in making things for a following rather than a sniff at some money, but I don't count on any of us living to see that happen on the regular.
