Not sure why this is, although I didn't upload the mirrors for v.01 (as I had to game request then claim ownership) but I was able to download the pixeldrain win version without any flags from windefender, and everything looks to be as normal. Maybe a false positive?

thx for checking, but ill stick with playing the online version on itch.
btw any tips on defeating the castleguards? you dont get exp by defeating treants and crows right?
so im not sure what to do to get stronger, got 500hp, leather hat+armor, long sword and spark spell

Yes! I have a few things that could help. I'd equip the staff found in the witch's house to increase your magic attack, as well as reading the book in there to increase your max HP and other stats. Then I would head to the shop in the village and kneel at the statue in there to increase your max HP. The NPC outside of the shop also gives you a potion to increase your max HP, as well as the NPC you learned the spark spell from.
I'd also sell any gear/weapons that aren't useful to you right now, such as the sword, axe, or cloak, and buy a Miracle Potion to increase your max HP and a couple of super potions to bring in. (There's a full detailed wallkthrough in the devlogs on itch)

Really enjoyed this short demo! I liked the extended game over scenes like the one with the witch! I have just a few quality of life suggestions: 1. Most of the scenes are game overs so a Surrender option is important to have 2. Reduce the chance percentage of normal enemies spawning in the forest, they get quite annoying 3. Like the cc4747's games it can be quite tricky to understand what to do to be strong enough to be able to defeat the enemies and advance with the story, the walkthrough is useful but you should make more straightforward quest with more rewards so the player is more inclined to explore all content available and all types of skills and items.
Anyways I'll follow the development closely and I give you my best regards for the future of the game!
