I'm on Windows 8, updated my drivers and have Opera installed.
The cube is spinning on the webgl test site, Harware acceleration is also enabled in Opera's options.
Can't open nwjs.exe

If you have multiple graphic cards, maybe NW.js is using the integrated one (Intel?), contrary to Opera. This may explain the different behavior. Just a wild guess.
