the mc is a female and she wears red, as far as i can remember the first minutes of the game they teach you how to sneak around. I lost my drive so i can't play or find the game anymore.

She wears pink, but I'm pretty sure the "teaching you about sneaking" part is correct. Although I think a number of kunoichi/sneaking games do that.

Trivia: If you take the (slightly mixed) characters for ku, no, and ichi in Japanese and overstrike them, you get the character for "woman." In other words, く　ノ　一 =　女

I dunno if that's where the word came from or not, but, hey, free knowledge.
