So it's a Renpy game with DAZ models, I played more than 1 year ago. At that time it was v 0.1
IIRC the MC is a male (cop or P.I. or ex-con), he is framed and suspected of murder.
one of the female protagonist has a serpent/dragon tatoo
Part of the action take place in a bar and in a hotel room.

If you say "Dragon", I say Depraved Awakening, but it's like a Pavlovian conditioning.
Probably it's another game. The MC is a P.I. and he does investigate a murder, but he's not framed iirc (is he?).

Was my first thought as well and nothing else jumped to mind - so I'll wait for a yes/no and if no will give it another thought...

It has a more dark atmosphere and MC was 30 years old and at the end of v0.1 he was a fugitive getting out of a town across some fields or a forest.

My last guess would've been Shadows Over Manston, but that doesn't fit either...
Then I have absolutely no idea and am pretty sure I haven't played it. But good luck!
