I cannot even put into words how bad this game is. The controls work only if you hit the required key twice, you get caught even when you are hiding, and there are too many instances where the indicator the girl is suspicious does not even show up or she catches you just as you are about to catch her. And to top it all off, the music keeps playing even after I have exited the game! I was looking forward to playing this, but man has it been a major disappointment.

That sounds like just you I hit the shit once and it works...

Hiding is to hide YOUR CHARACTER not your movement and other shit basiacly when she has the question mark hide in the box so she don't see you.

Never once have I had the indicator never show up

Sounds like you got a bunk download or you tried to play it on a patoto hooked up to jumper cables and a car battery.
Re-download and try again make sure you run it in japanese admin on locale emulator.

If I remember right, and it's the one where she walks right next to it and you have no food to throw at it, then all you have to do is stand back a bit. Once she passes it she comes back and takes it away. Then you can continue following her.

So completed this game was meh it's worth a play through.... Maybe? If you are into these types of games wasn't anything real special however you won't miss much if ya pass on it.

As a side note, is the depiction of rape not illegal in Japan... or anywhere for that matter? I feel like there's some sort of law in the US that porn cannot depict children or lack of consent.

There is no law in the states against depicting rape... ********** yes and that gets muddy when talking about cartoons.
