Let's look from the perspective of someone who would actually attempt this:
1. The game has an original creator - this means stealing someone else's work
2. The game has a dedicated community - they are mostly going to hate anyone who dares to change the original material (see other replies for example)
3. The game deals with some darker content - issues with Patreon
4. How would you even adapt a game like that into a VN ?

So yeah, it just would not be worth it.

People do not talk about porn on the neverwinter night forums or wherever this mod gets discussed often as freely as they do here.

And why not ?
It is a mod that has been around for years with it's own dedicated fanbase. There should have been places dedicated for this kind of stuff.
Doesn't this simply mean that people just wanted to discuss other things instead ?

IF someone would actually pull a proper adaption, legally, with good 2d graphics and some mechanics to keep the spirit of the original then sure I would be for it...
but it is not as great of an idea that you claim it to be.

And why do you think that it would not be successful? There are many similar games and they all do well. You saying that it would definitely not be worth it is the definition of subjectivity. No one cares about any of your 4 points.They have all been proven pointless to worry about. A lot of people love modding and parodies and also subscribestar is a thing etc etc

It absolutely is. Great writing and premise for a porn game. I know this because there are many others that are similar and successful. All ADWR needs is less rpg annoying gameplay and hot art.
