the megadownloader works wonders for gettin around it, at least I've never had any issues with the limit and gettin hold of stuff like SOB
I know it. But in the 0.16 verision, I used the same qsp and the progress of grinding work normally. In 0.17 version, I can't spy in the first day.

you can't actually , if you use a qsp with normal stats you must "work" your way to enable this

Trying to get further along the line with the stepsister, I've gotten the first kiss in the park, and can play cards with her, but when I go to the university I get no options besides waiting or going to the city center.

Don't think so. I'm at my second ingame year on there and work fine. I can even go there with the sister. If the month is correct for you (school isn't open for 7-8 month) and you was there for the tests (january and june), my only guess that maybe you use a different qsp from op than me. I use the original from the 12giga pack.
