Ren'Py Sound stopped working on all Ren'Py games :(

So, from around yesterday afternoon sound has stopped working on all the Ren'Py games I've tried. Other games and programs work fine. I'm using Windows 8.

So ... am I doomed to a lack of background music and moans ripped off from other games? :p
