VN - Ren'Py - Completed - SPACE PRISON [v1.00 FINAL] [Ubarefeet]

I'm commander Shepherd and ... oddly ... this has been one of my favorite games on the citadel. The kink was just really well done. I was as invested in my character and others as I felt the game deserved. The different species and their idiosyncrasies were hot. The art style, while a bit jarring at first, really grew on me. The game never felt like it was outstaying its welcome. I really hope to see more from this creator. If I could offer any constructive criticism for future games, it would be that character routes be like 15% easier to figure out and follow with right choices. A few of the routes were just a bit too obscure for me to figure out, or were just a touch too frustrating. But that's just one opinion.

I've come back to this game 3 times already, the kinks are everything I enjoy. I'm thinking of redoing it again just because of that. Lots of people are put off by the art, I'm not. In fact, I've even been playing their next game, and I'm hoping to see it finished because so far, yet again, the kinks are there for me. Not pristine, high-class quality stuff, but it's one of the only three porn games that I've ever returned to play again. If you're a pervert who can only get turned on by the weirdest stuff, I think this is a good recommendation. The art gets better as the game goes on, not great, but passable for people who never needed visual aid to get off in the first place. If you're critical of art and need the art to carry a pornographic game for you, move on, there are still people like me who will enjoy it.

After reading the reviews and watching the previews I still decided to give this game a chance because there are very few lezdom games out there. Boy, that fucking sucked. The best word to describe this game is "half-assed". The art is complete shit except for a couple of scenes. The writing is poor. The stats are a bit confusing. The save slots don't show scene preview or save time, so I had to memorize what do these slots correspond to. There is no skip button. I don't recommend this game to anyone.

That being said, the plot and atmosphere of the game are quite hot, so if the dev will make a remake of this game with all the above-mentioned issues fixed, it will be a blast.

This wasnt exactly a bad game but sure oh boy it was a very weird one in everything from music to characters and get get me started on the art.

The characters were somewhat interesting,some more than others.

The art style if very weird but it sort of grows on you,as time passes it gets better but even so,it a sort of love-hate thing. It is very inconsistent that does ruin the immersion and you cant really take the game seriously again.

The whole stats and choice can be confusing at times.

The endings were weird,there has to be a true ending that explains the whole picture but i was kind of done with the art.

Music is probably the worst aspect of this game,very annoying,

There were alot of cliches and others ridicoulous situations that drag this game down like the commander at the start being a stereotypical russian woman from red alert 2 with the music aswell.

Porn scenes are kind of poor.

The 5 start system is stupid.

I only played the femdom side of the gam, and I enjoyed it alot. If you like to be dommed and humiliated. The game has great content. I will admit the art is rough but I don't think it hurts the game. I think it has a charm to it.

Huge variety of endings and fetishes. You can be a sub, or a dom, but the game seems to push you towards the sub end since that's more developed.
Has high replayability due to the many branching paths.

My only criticism is the art quality is inconsistent in some areas where sometimes its high quality and then sometimes it looks like it was rushed, but that's my only major gripe.

The game is terrible at best, unfortunately.
Feels clunky and unfinished even for Ren'Py standards, the scenes are not well written with a bunch of grammar errors in them and the art style just goes all over the place - art usually looks like it was drawn in MSPaint, the art style varies extremely and looks either terrible or straight up traced. Obviously, no one is born an artist but this entire game just feels rushed, unfinished and as if a middle-schooler just wanted to make quick cash off patreon.

Wouldn't recommend playing, settle for something better.

I had to many problems with the game to enjoy the game I really wanted to like it but I just can't.

First and foremost one of my most biggest problems with any games are technical related issues. What is the point of anything good in a game if you can't play it. Not saying that this game had any issues that prevented you from playing but there were just a lot of technical things that made it difficult. Problems I could think of listed below for what I played related to technical.

- The main menu was cool but finding all the options and settings from the space ship picture that hid the options unless I hovered... well why? Yeah its cool but still WHY? It hinders getting into the game.

- The save menu does not show images like normal renpy games. So when you save and try to load you have no idea what your loading unless you remember where you saved at. WHY? WHY WOULD YOU REMOVE A FEATURE THAT COMES WITH RENPY FOR THIS DESIGN FEATURE? YOU HAD TO CODE NOTHING FOR THIS ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS LEAVE IT THE WAY IT WAS.

Sorry now that I got that off my chest.

The art I won't say its terrible because I think this was just the style chosen for the game I could be wrong but I actually think the art can be liked by people.

Getting scenes can be really difficult because you get locked out of a lot of it. I know generally games don't intend for you to access all paths but this one has a lot of paths and its hard to get it in one play through. I am very pro-opposite when it comes to replayability. If you have to play a game multiple times for a VN type game especially when the story isn't REALLY THAT GREAT then why the fudge would you want to play it again. Replayability shouldn't always be considered a good feature to add to games unless you are making "THAT KIND OF GAME".

The few upsides I had to this game was the dialogue. I really liked the dialogue and the ability to play the game for the most part the way I wanted. I pretty much went in a cock slave and nobody could stop me :'). It was also just generally very hot dialogue its dialogue you can really get turned on by is what I am saying.

There was clear effort put into this game despite the art style being... not to the liking of many. Its still obvious that there was a lot added to this game. I think that in itself deserves the second star.

I will say though that if the art was better and the story was a little improved. This would be a super hot game and probably at the top. I know some might be like "well I liked the art style". That is completely fine but this was just advice for if the game wanted to cater to what would have probably been the majority. If this was the art style they intended that is entirely fine.

Space prison v.1

So i've played this game for a few days now and i know alot of people are talking about the cgs or the graphics in this game...And it's true some of it looks really bad and some of it looke quite nice. Yeah and the story isn't really there, weird use of music, and onwards... But behind this farcade is something i've really enjoyed. I love the character design of the characters in the game as they're all quite unique and interesting. Further on the kinks in the game is well done and have been used in an interesting way that sorts itself out from the dozens of same shit, same story that i'm so used to seeing by now.

So, in the end. Is this for you? Are you looking for a game which tries to deliver futadom in a way that is not the same cg and not 3d but from a asset store? I would recommend this to you even though it has it's issues.

The graphics are really bad. The story is barely okay. Worst of all is the technical aspect of the game you can not even enter the Main Menu or Save and Load. There will be no hotfix. The Developer is too lazy for that so either you get the Final Version on his Patreon or play the whole game without saving. There is also no rollback.

It is bad, so bad that actually hurts. It's not just a horrible graphics problem, It's a brainfuck game in terms of plot or coherence.
Even a rookie photoshop user could pull better images than this crap, nad people praise this game because the amount of content? I didn't saw all that content and also, anyone would pull giga quantity of updates if they get this low effort in writing and graphics...

First off, the art looks like something done by a middle-schooler, but this is the least of the problems with this game.

The game starts without putting you on a menu, so you cannot change any settings. Right click, & Esc hotkeys are disabled so you cannot access a menu while in game, this also means that you cannot save.

Rollback is disabled.

The quick menu is disabled.

Even cheating all of my stats to 99 and installing custom scripts to restore basic renpy functionality was not enough to make this game enjoyable.

There are all kinds of fetishes in the game. As there are different ways of finishing, they also have different endings.sounds pretty good.The only thing missing is maybe the animations should be more

I originally downloaded this just to see what's the deal with the orc girl in one of the screenshots. And while she turned out to be slightly outside of what I'm into, there's no shortage of cool character designs here, so I'll call it a win. Punk neko best girl btw. <3 (And, well, the other neko is also sweet - literally.)

As far as the porn content itself goes, the game does well enough, depending on how much of a degenerate you are. There's a fuckton of girl dick, femdom and feet stuff (I'm not super into feet - yet - but I gotta admit there's some grade A material here for people that are), which is some fairly "vanilla" stuff I'm perfectly fine with. Then you get into sweat/musk, which is not too far down my alley, but dirty body parts and watersports/scat is where I'm out. But you can pretty much guess where things are going (and at places you're even directly warned in the prompt itself), so you should have a good chance of avoiding something that could singe your eyes.

The MS Paint artwork is actually very good at places and at the very least ok to look at in most other instances. Yes, it is an... unconventional choice, but it grows on you.

Now, my main gripe is just how much of an incoherent mess this is. That's partially because of the English, which comes dangerously close to the point at which you could call it broken. The other part is that the story is just kind of all over the place. There's like that one path that contains the majority of the lore and if you don't go through that one, you'll mostly be stuck grasping at straws as to what the fuck is actually going on. And when you do go through it, it is fairly unsatisfying, albeit amusing. Not that you really need to know the "truth" to have fun.

Also, it's Ren'Py - why no rewind? Sure, the game's pretty short, but saving all the time is pretty annoying. Speaking of saves, why aren't they labelled - like, at all? You don't even know which slot has a save in it, let alone see the time/location in which you saved.

The stat checks are also kinda annoying and the few opportunities you're given to improve them can significantly alter your playthrough, but I guess it's just one of those games. Good thing it's fairly short, so you can rely on Ren'Py skip when you're checking out what you've missed. But it might be pretty hard to keep track of everything, given just how many branching paths there are...

If the English wasn't such a disaster, I'd probably shoot for 4/5, but I can't justify that as is. The Ren'Py stuff is not a dealbreaker - though it sure doesn't help - and the story doesn't have to be a narrative masterpiece for a (porn) game to be good, although a bit more clarity and cohesion wouldn't hurt.

Art grows on you and the scenes are pretty good.
My problem is that stats can lock you out of some scenes (even story branches) but its one of those games, so you'll have to replay it.

I love the games POV cam. The art is good too. I hope to see more content like this. I hope there will be more games like this one. UI could be better. Save and loads could have images. They look like they are empty.
Overall I love the game. Keep up the good work!

The art ain't good , but it does the job and it seems to get better as the game goes on .
The domination/submission and the characthers is what hooked me.

Now, I'm sure your underlying idea is great but I must suggest you to put the graphics and interaction part of the game to someone else.
Use your drawings so the artist get a feel of how the scene should be set up.

The crap "art" style is just something you have to tolerate or not bother with the game. It has CG rendered environments with hand-mouse-drawn in MS Paint characters. The first handful of characters are just... fking bad. The "sandbox" style is directionless and chaotic.

I gave it 10 min and just got tired of seeing the horribly-sketched MS Paint drawings.

I've tried repeatedly to get into this game and it's just offputting. The art varies so wildly it feels like you're switching between games and the 'demon' or whatever you call it in the dream sequences is just awful. It kills any boner you might have already, as does some of the ridiculously terrible endings.
