Just found out about this game and it's truly amazing. The graphics are fantastic: I mean, many commercial 2D P&C adventure games can only dream about cartoonish art of this quality! A bit of a bummer that many things you can do and some quests hit a "WIP" wall, but at least it suggests a mostly non-linear progression and many things to look up to.

Okay, so what I like about this game? It's... Chill. Not tons of drama. The girls are willing participants, not having to be tricked or coerced. The plot so far is just a grunt trying his best to help out and endearing himself to people in the process. I like that.

And the art style is fantastic. Makes me wish I wasn't a broke-ass so I could support this game. Maybe in a few months. :p
Yeah games where you help out the girl or they want the MC naturally are my favorite. A lot easier for me to insert myself into the narrative rather than hypnotizing, blackmailing, or literally being a sociopath just to get into their pants ... instant turn off for me.

If you haven't done so already, do try What a Legend. It's very much in the same happy-go-lucky vein in general.

The crane game is so difficult, sliding the white bar is easy, but the corner pieces aren't, it's so dumb and aggravating, there's literally no walk through on how to do it.

edit: figured it out, and it was a waste of time too, since there was no content scenes after that, so no point in doing it.

How do I get the Spa Key Card? I already got the sisters into the showers, but I can't find the card.

EDIT: Nevermind. If you go to the West Hallway after getting the sisters into the shower, Mindy will call you into the changing room and give it to you.

Uhh, what crane game? I only know the one where you need to collect Asteroids, and the only "crane" is the thing where you try to fix the pink ship.

once you're far along the story, you unlock a junkyard ship, where you operate a crane, which is just an annoying puzzle with no actual crane game mechanics.

How far exactly? I got Sophie's story, Lune's Photoshoot, and the Sisters and the Pool to the current end. Am I missing something?

Seriously, though. Why are games about relationships that aren't abusive such a rarity? I mean, we're here, so we all have our issues... But 'getting the girl' games too often seem to revolve around trickery and manipulation, rather than presenting an MC that is likable enough to explain why women are attracted to him. Just look at this one, or What A Legend, or even Summertime Saga (For all its messed up-ness)... Themes of actually caring about people really do get a lot of attention. There is a woefully untapped genre there, I think.

As time goes on and my experience with these games continues, I am definitely gravitating toward the more "wholesome" games. I have no desire to role-play a psychopath.

I wonder if some of the people endorsing the more psychopathic games are doing so out of a twisted belief in the "Alpha Male" Myth. The topic has come up in The Fosters, where they are counting up α and ß points. I questioned why alpha points weren't based upon being a strong protector of the girls. The dev explained that it was based upon the perspective of the MC, who has suffered a lot of abuse and has never really had a good parental role model (dimly remembered father who died on deployment when the MC was very young). He lives with his abused mother and the abuser, so he bases his view of what it means to be a man on that twisted situation.

I suppose I can understand that to some degree... I just don't really approve of it. Especially if someone is trying to tell a good story, but does so in a way where the MC doesn't have much by way of growth or improvement. The other side of that coin being an MC that is presented as already perfect, as some sort of teenage male power fantasy. It's hard to care about the sex when you don't care about the characters.
I really think this game has presented an MC and girls that are easy to like. Lots of variety in their personalities and body-types. It seems almost silly to be excited about an update to a porn game, but I'm really looking forward to seeing his designs for future characters. I've always believed these games can be more than just fap material to make a few bucks. They can be fun and engaging, usually they just... Aren't. We need more like this to legitimize the genre.
Once I'm sure the rent is getting paid this month, I think I'm going to actually pitch some money Robin's way... But my roomie hit a deer in his work car. Took them two weeks to get it repaired. Freak thing, couldn't have planned for it. I think we're going to be okay, but I want to make sure first. Still... I want them Patreon updates!
