I often have the issue where the knee, shoulder, and elbows get rounded out too much. What I've tried in the past is corrective smoothing in blender, but using weight maps to control what parts get smoothed, so that certain details are maintained. More proof of concept since I haven't locked in a stardard workflow yetThis is perfect for the kind of work I do in Daz, which is non-photorealistic. But if you want to maintain the HD details you probably have to crack open Blender and get to sculpting.
