As much as I'd desperately love to get into the real meat of the game ASAP, you're definitely right that taking your time and setting up a good foundation is the better way to do it. Going directly into neighborhood block party pregnant gangbangs in the first 20 minutes would feel a bit abrupt
I find that the best porn games make you care about the characters even outside of the sex scenes, that way when they do stuff there's a much greater emotional connection. Of course, that takes time. I gather you're of a similar mindset! One good way I've seen certain games handle it (Vulgar Reviere for example) is having scenes of the MC fantasizing before getting into the real action. That way they work with the story while providing a bit more to chew on.Do you have a planned update schedule or will you be following more of a "it's done when it's done" workflow? For a project of such high quality and with so much choice and complexity, it seems like a massive undertaking, especially if you're making the game alone.
Also, do you plan to open a patreon or some other support method at some point? If the game ends up as good as the previews make it look then it'll be something that I and likely many others would gladly support.
