My way was through constant usage of Tactical Advantage from Light and Physical attacks (Nascent Oil Coating). It requires to be faster than him and also relies on RNG, but it's possible.
I also heard that it becomes easy if you use Pacify on him. Double Pacify and his attacks are not really scary although I didn't check that.
Gonna try pacify later, thanks.

this game is sooo hard i cant think :(
A big part of the game is figuring out how the individual bosses work. They're hard, but there's always something you can do to beat them. It's kinda funny how Aura keeps saying "As long as I'm thinking I can win" because that's very much how the RPG side of the game works. The game is very much an actual game.

Just started the game recently, does Richard/Gilgamesh Knockoff and Alicia get some character development later in game? Or are they just "pure evil"? Like would there be some "backstory" why Richard/Alicia is comically pure evil?

How "hard" is it to try going for pure route/ Victory A Blind on Normal Difficulty (not using walkthroughs)? I'm afraid of the accumulating corruption/lust per day (soft time limit) and makes me think I should min max my Days and not spend too much time on less efficient day consuming activities. If possible, I want to leisurely take my time enjoying the game, but the lust/corruption game makes me dread it (yes, I can lower the difficulty, but I prefer to play normal). Any tips?

Is there any point to fighting normal mobs (aside from possible quests that may require killing x amount of them or something)? Since they drop 0 exp, 0 gold, 0 item, do they somehow give skills when you kill x amount of them (Like 10 goblins killed = goblin slayer skill that increases damage against goblins/ + stats)?

So, to the 1st bit, yes, there is more character development for both of them, and you get to find out why they're evil, but also various details about their overall circumstances that help explain who they are. It takes a while though.

I managed to get Victory A after playing for 300-something days and messing around quite a bit. It was my first playthrough and I knew fuck and all about the game. XD If you want to beat the game without Walkthroughs or checking anything at all on the wikipedia and whatnot, then it's important to pay very close attention to the stuff it tells you. Also, don't worry too much about getting a high score. There's some deals where getting a bit of Lewdness and Corruption is totally worth it (like the Alchemist discount which can let you save up tons of money in the long run, as a super early example) then there's deals which are NOT worth it under any circumstances. Most of those show up later in the game. Save often and don't be afraid to save-scum.

I say the last bit because there's one specific bit of Information that Aura would have, but the player doesn't, which affects decisions a lot. That's monster group compositions. Since you don't know what composition any given group has, you pretty much never know for sure if you should or shouldn't engage with one at any given time.

As for normal monsters. No. You don't really get anything from killing normal monsters outside of the specific cases where they drop gold, like goblins, ogres, whatever. As such, sometimes, you might want to kill normal monsters simply to pad up your gold count even by the little scraps you get from those monsters. Everything is essentially a limited resource in SK Aura, and the gold from certain monster types does add up quite a bit if you have the time to hunt them all down efficiently.

I'm not going to try to guess how hard unlocking Victory A blind will be for you because I have seen, on one hand, people who claim that the game is nearly impossible on story mode and, on the other side of the scales, an individual complaining that every boss was so easy that they never felt the need to use the remove collar ability on a purity run. My understanding is that if you're doing your best to keep Aura away from getting too corrupted in Roya then it should be pretty easy to stay on the Victory A path as long as Aura still has a good relationship with George. If you do end up letting Aura run wild in Roya then it's harder, but advice on what to do/avoid would involve spoilers for the second half of the game.

The above replies covered most of what I would say, but I do have a couple things to add. Keep at least a few backup saves at what feel like major milestone/story events so that you don't potentially lock yourself into a crappy situation. The other point I'd mention is that, occasionally, enemies in a zone dropping loot is a sign that you should clear the zone. For example, once you kill all the goblins in the first section of the forest, the apple merchant restocks additional apples. The more important takeaway is kinda the reverse though. (unless I have somehow blanked something from my memory) Zones where enemies don't have loot drops won't reward you for clearing the zone, so its usually best to avoid as many fights there as possible.

General tips... hmm...
