please stop spreading this. this is not how the game saves in the current version. it does it via the registry.

can someone send full save i lost my %100 save i got copy of appdata but i guess that didnt work?
I'd share my save if I knew how. I saw the earlier save share with a "save1.dat" that I don't have, I believe the former saves were treated in the registery and since I didn't start a new save, it stayed this way.
Anyway, try it and tell me if it works.

nah it doesnt work i already have my copy of appdata before reseting my pc so i tried both yours and mine both didnt work i guess i have to wait for a big update to start over lol
I exported the registry key linked to starbreed (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RegulusNSFW\StarbreedDemo). I deleted what was currently on the registry key, started the game, there was no save.
I executed the registry key I exported, started the game again and my save came back. Try it maybe.
PS : just in case you want to be careful with registry key since the registry can be quite touchy, here's what's on it (you can see it by ricght clicking + "modify").
As you see, it's juste a bunch of hexadecimal numbers related to differents names. :

Download the .zip file I uploaded, extract the .reg file inside and execute it (double click on it), it will add to the registry the registry key named "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RegulusNSFW\StarbreedDemo" and add what I listed to this key.
Casually, games saves either on Appdata or directly inside the game folder. But some games like Starbreed saves on the registry, don't ask me why, I'm not a game dev.
looks like in update 14 there will be a new save system (guessing making the older save files useless), is it the last one?

by the dev's own projections, there's still about 10 months (5 updates) until the game is finished. also, the new save system should keep progress from v0.13... but if it doesn't, someone here will probably be upload a full save soon anyways

It's crazy how hard it is to figure out what the dev expects you to do in order to get these chips. Something as simple as "Kill all of X Enemy" is a trial by fire because for all you know, the enemy type you're trying to do a successful genocide on is the correct one and there's just a blink and you'll miss it moment where that enemy shows up or is just straight up hidden that you're just somehow failing to notice every time.
