VN - Unity - Completed - Starmaker Story [v1.1A] [Arvus Games]

I really didn't expect this project from Arvus Games. I saw some teasers on Twitter, but I didn't pay much attention, and my friends, what an incredible game. I can honestly say that this is one of Kaliyo's most successful games to launch. Unlike Arenus, which promised to deliver a lot of things, and ended up being a mess full of bugs, Starmaker Story gets simplicity right. Of course the game needs some polishing here or there, fixing some quest bugs and glitchy images, BUT, I simply loved it from the beginning to the end of the game. Variety of routes, several scenes with variations, including femboys, futa, and full family scenes. Congratulations to the entire Arvus Games team, the art being in Pixel Art really adds an extra charm to the game, I don't know why but all the scenes make me horny

This game is far from complete, as you progress there's no real progress to Anna. She doesnt wear different outfits, she doesnt really do much different. I love the pixellated stuff but it needs to be fixed. It just doesn't feel complete

Very good game, reminds me heavily of classics such as summertime saga. The characters are so much fun, and I much like the focus on milfs with big booba. The story starts a bit slow, but after 30 minutes becomes really fun to be part of. I hope there will be more content.

The minigames can be a bit tedious and I wish you only had to do them like two or three times instead of five or six times, but that is a small sacrifice for such fun game.

Also I like discovering the secrets, I wish more porn games had secrets like that.

This is an AI generated H-game. The game is designed like a fucking train, it goes one way and thats it, there is no way to retrace your steps without starting clean save and wasting your early-game trying to snowball the "Starmaker" onlyfans money rolling. So you are stuck with one save and since I wasnt much of a "share-type" guy I chose the latter option which only locked me out of scenes never to be able to even see them later at the ending. So essentially my advice would be to choose everything since even if you choose them you arent really forced to watch the share-scenes, only given the option to see them, which is severely stupid mechanic. Same thing goes for your "fathers" side-bitch, you can repeat the impregnation-tries again and again, but once you revist the hotel room, she is preggo and completely becomes unavaiable. The UI is simplistic, the transitions between rooms slightly annoying and time wasting, the scenes are not animated and obviously since it is AI generated not that consistent. Characters on each CG have massive tits and the next slightly smaller but become chumpier, my point is that besides the hair colour you will not be able to tell apart the characters, all of them inherit the same body-type that is not even consistent, making the scenes not that enjoyable. Only Kate is somewhat unique and even on 1 scene her tits get slightly bigger that her main CG.

For AI-gen game it is slightly above average, depending on how horny you are the review of this game will change. Dont get me wrong the characters are hot and the scenes interesting but the "train-save" design alongside the slow af scene transition with the not so consistent art, makes this game not as good.

The game may seem short but there is alot of side content that's nice to do
Money system is fair. Once you get the studio, hit the 1000$ mark and buy the first 2 cameras (which takes 30mins-1hr) all your money problems start to disappear which can give you time for the side content. Speaking of side content there's alot of people you can have scenes with. It just takes a good bit of exploring and expanding along the main story. There are grindy mini games (the dancing mini-game needs to be fixed It's buggy as hell and makes the game unplayable after you complete it once) but you only have to do them 3-5 times.

if they just add multiple saves, add a gallery and fix the buggy games I'd be Ballin with this game but it is what it is. I'm still playing tho trying to figure every last scene because I keep finding new events and new scene with characters but so far I've done

I had one event with Liz but it was so random and out of pocket and it makes me want more.
Anyways that's all I can remember and say but good game to spend a day on and play multiple times. I like how you can click a end scene and just reload the save that morning it makes clicking end scenes less stressful

Starmaker Story is a sandbox game lewding your definitely not mom on definitely not only fans.

I really want to like this game more than it unfortunately deserves. Even if it's AI generated, the art has style and feels very cohesive. I like the look of the girls and the environments a great deal. While the character relationships and story are a little weak, there's enough effort displayed that it at least isn't a negative. It is unfortunately the gameplay that's a problem.

The sandbox itself involves too much mandatory wandering. There's no quest log or hint system so the only way to find scenes is to continuously check map locations every day even when there's nothing to do at them 90% of the time. Character progression is hidden so the only way to advance character story lines is to repeat scenes over and over again with no real idea whether there are hidden stats advancing or even whether there's another scene to see.

The grind is also pretty disgusting. Things might accelerate in the late game, but early game there is a large amount of playtime with almost no new content. You just take the same pictures over and over again for follower/sub count/money and hope it's progressing character stories. It definitely doesn't help that buying many of the items that would unlock new photos or scenes doesn't advance your income generating potential while making unlocking other new scenes take even longer.

Overall, Starmaker Story is a pretty game with that desperately needs some gameplay refinement. If either the grind or sandbox wandering issue was fixed the game is easily four stars. If both were fixed it could quite possibly be five.

Starmaker Story is complete, with good art in a consistent style, an interesting story and a variety of characters. Though at times a little grindy and buggy, all signs point to a developer that cares about their product.

Nice game. Pretty standard porn plot. I liked the art style. I'm not usually a fan of sandbox stuff because of the grind but this one isn't that bad grind wise. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is no easy way to save and the game has various buggy areas that will give you a dead end.

easily in my top 5, this game is just AMAZING.
the story is simple but engaging, the characters are fun and diverse.
But the art is hands down one of the best i have ever seen the style is amazing each frame could be a wallpaper.

Literally a straight 9/10. If the game had some animations with the pictures and better UI it would be a 11/10. The Art is amazing and the person/team who has worked on this game knows how to make the Big titty women sexy. I Know it's AI and it's kinda hit and miss. For me at least it's been 99% miss with those kinds of games just cuz i dont like the art style. But here everything fits so perfectly together and it never gets boring to look at. Now i will say having some form of indication of what to do and where to go and not just high roll the right room at the right time would be nice since it gets kinda boring clicking on every. single. area and checking it all out. I played the game in one sitting yesterday and haven't had this much enjoyment from a porn game with no animations in a long ass time.

A short but hot game. Although a walkthrough and an option to save would be a boon to all of us who would like to see all the content the game has to offer. Needs to be played multiple times to pursue all the paths due to the autosave feature.

why im giving it 3 ?
1 : no manual saving only auto save when u go to bed which leads to many issues
- the lack of freedom with choices that locks u out if u picked up the wrong choice - some bugs thats makes u get locked and the only way to solve it is by replaying the whole game even tho those bugs most of them can be avoided with an early save file if u had the ability to manually save

2 : lack of tips and walkthrough and the schedule dont update with new events at least thats what im aware of

3 : way grindy at the start and even when u grow on subs still so much things cost a lot of money

4 : only PICs

thats been said this is lovely game and i hope it gets better and hopfully new games will be much more better and improved

First Impression: Simply amazing presentation better than some of the VNs on this platform. What surprised me was that it was AI generated, which is very impressive! It does have some very big flaws, but they are fixable. It's very grindy, so I recommend you edit the save file with more money. The game becomes siginificantly more enjoyable.

Verdict: 7/10 (8/10 if they fix problematic bugs. 9/10 if flesh out the endings and added a bit more)

Pros:
- The character designs are wonderful! Many of the MILFs and women are simple, elegant, clean, and hot! It didn't feel like their character designs were forced to look unique.

- The story is a little weird, but it's a porn fantasy where you just try your best to get into all of the women's pants.

- The sex scenes are still-images but there is a good amount of it with great angles! And the dialogue in the scenes are pretty spicy. If you looking at anus, this game is for you lol

- Amazing presentation, the background especially with the VFX like the car driving or downtown is very cool. Do it for the rest of the backgrounds!

- Most NTR(Netori) and Sharing route is purely optional and avoidable. The dialogue choices(black bar) will warn you.

- Music and SFX is quite nice. It's not original since it's most likely bought assets, but it doesn't degrade in your ear.

Cons:
- The endings completely suck. They are just plain text with a generic background with no rewards. A few of them were funny like the ascension, but majority of them just killed my boner harder than fucking a crab shell in a Siberian winter.

- Extremely grindy. The game will try very hard to make you pay in-game money. $250 for Groceries, $5000 for Health Insurance, $100 for Gym membership. and more. [It is highly recommended you cheat money by editing the save.json in Appdata]

- Only one save... why? This extremely annoying when you make a "bad" choice or want to experiment on choices. It will only save after finishing the first activity.

- Game-breaking or weird bugs. The ones I found are: Sleeping in bed sometimes require me to leave the room, navigation buttons sometimes stop working, pictures taken(bathroom) do not go away unless force a dialogue, Anna says she isn't ready for nude photos but is fine having sex with you, and more! [Highly recommend you make backup of saves]

- No options menu. Why? I can't seem to find a way to use ESC to pull up the main menu(if there is one). Let me tinker a few settings like dialogue speed, box opacity, volume, and windowed mode.

- Game would also benefit for having some kind of gallery, or relationship tracker, quest journal, or tips.

- Mini-games feel simple and pointless. Doesn't add anything to the gameplay and needs to be skippable or removed.

Conclusion: I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Definitely a keeper for me and I hope the developer expands on it some more. I highly recommend you at least give it a try. Just make sure to have save backups(Appdata/LocalLow/Arvus Games)

I rate the game a 3.5/5. The game is good, but the few issues it has are severe enough to knock it down a star, and the lackluster endings knock it down another half.

The good(earns points):
The character art, while AI generated, is pretty good, the filter must hide some defects because I wouldn't know if the game didn't admit it was AI. I appreciate plump milfs greatly.

The sex scenes themselves are pretty hot, nothing to really complain about there. The girl's anuses are pretty large and pronounced, I think the term people use when referring to this type is "donut" and while I find it hot as fuck, I guess a lot of people do not. I am a bit saddened that there is only a little bit of anal content when whoever prompted the AI really put emphasis on the anuses of the girls.

The mid(no point gain or loss):
the story. Its alright, could be better could be worse, but at the end of the day, it is a vessel in which to consume porn with, and it does that job.

Game cohesion. You never really get told what to do, just dropped into the world and let loose, however the game is pretty straightforward and is basically just a VN with a rudimentary sandbox feature. I'm a big fan of sandbox games, but I do this this game would have been better off as a straight up VN with choices. I got stuck for a while on the mom romance route, trying to figure out how to get her to quit being an alcoholic, turns out you just need to gift her wine a few times and choose the right answers during her drunken fits. That sure tripped me up.

Speaking about choices, the game has them, though only a few of them actually affect the story, the game marks these important story choices by... adding cinematic black boxes to the scene? Guess it could be worse. Very important choices like route choices are clearly labeled in the choice box too.

The bad(subtracts points):
The game has some unplayable routes due to gamebreaking bugs which softlock the game, persist through saves and even restarting the game, and only go away when you restart the entire game. I had to restart the game twice before I went into the appdata folder and made backups of the SINGLE saveslot the game has.

Speaking of save slots, the game, as stated, has only one. Now this wouldn't be the end of the world if the aforementioned gamebreaking softlock bug did not exist.

The endings. The game has 11 of them, though they feel VERY VERY rushed. You go through all the effort to grind out these girls and most of the endings are a just a few sentences of text on a background, most don't explain anything about the MC and his girl of choice's life together, and all the endings I got lacked a sex scene, plus most of the endings have the MC cutting ties with EVERYONE he knows, to go run away with his girl of choice. Its a bit of a slap in the face when you meticulously go through the game getting all the girl's scenes, choosing the love route, and the ending you're greeted with is 3 sentences about how the MC abandoned everyone and everything on a whim to go fuck him mom somewhere in another part of the world, and then not even get a sex scene showing that.

All in all the game is worth it, its free for everyone and was made in the dev's downtime from working on his other games, and the dev has expressed desire to add some stuff to the game later down the line, which I hope can fix the endings.

One more gripe is the fucking menial tasks you have to do. What does making the player buy groceries every other week, and pay off the mafia every Monday really bring to the story?
