Unity - Starmaker Story [v1.7] [Arvus Games]

I just completed one of the endings for this game and holy shit this game was so good. There are so many paths you can go and the freedom, this game is so immersive. I loved the characters and the story was outstanding, I've been playing games on this website for a couple years now and this game might be in my top 5 or even top 3!

Definitely their best game so far! Love the multiple routes. My only grudge is that i wish the save system was better. I would like to be able to try out more routes without having to restart the game completely.

Very good, nothing major to complain about, perhaps wish the routing was better outlined on what choices give you what options/outcomes, this will just get better with time as the dev adds more content.

lovely story, lovely pixel art but every female character feels same with same body type a little more variation would be nice, overall its a solid fun game and its getting more and more story update even though the main story can be ended

Starmaker Story is an unity based game created by Arvus Games compiled with pixelated art made by artificial intelligence. As the oldest son of a rich couple with recent financial problems, you must now help your family to deal with the pressure of the newfound situation. The protagonist's mother thinks about creating an internet subscription profile based on real life platforms where she can make money while the young protagonist uses his abilities to take more and more daring pictures. While improving the popularity of his mother’s profile, the player gets access to many new places where he can find new characters and buy products to improve his source of money. The game has light tones of a dating simulator and point-and-click adventure, where you have to explore different places at different times, and talk to many people while doing some very simple minigames or just managing your revenue. Despite its very straightforward gameplay and mechanics, Starmaker is very fun with many different little stories and romances to investigate. Some with deeper meanings, others more superficial, but they all complex in its path to resolution, so much that a guide may be useful, especially considering the many branches it can have. The big objective is the protagonist’s mother, with the opportunity to unlock many pictures and costumes to improve her profile. The art has some recognizable artificial intelligence brushes, but the developer made sure to polish it to near perfection. Without the disclaimer it is very hard to discover it was created by machine. Besides the beautiful models, the game also showers you with great aesthetics inspired by eighties synthwave, also providing ambience music to follow up its main theme. The problems presented are few but a bit obnoxious in present v1.2b. Some lack of refinement in the code resulted in bugs like overlapping interactions or one not properly finished minigame with the governor. Nothing serious or damaging but ugly nonetheless, especially with the talking animations. The biggest problem is the slow dialog box and the consequent excessive clicking. When a game has so much dialog, and a dialog that you will see multiple times because it changes along the romance level, the developer is obliged to create an option for faster and instant text speed. Absent here, it becomes quite an annoyance after some hours. I believe Arvus Games is competent, as demonstrated by not forcing horrible deadlines into the player like so many games, and giving an escape from an obnoxious weekly demand with the father' safe. In conclusion, while Starmaker has some flaws and needs polishing, it remains a solid game that I would recommend.

A little bit of jank, but good for a visual novel type game. Some mini-games make it more interactive, but aren't much of a challenge. Lots of options for various romances with different characters, but a lot of them share the same body type.

You guys have hit the jackpot. The ai art is very well made, although not perfect. The kinks are perfect. I find the mom corruption beautifully done, until she told us joanne isnt real and she was doing all this because she wanted to, which ruined all the corruption fun for me. You guys MUST retcon that and add joanne as a real character. Now onto the main thing I liked about this game, the aesthetic and music. Im absolutely hypnotised by the retrowave aesthetics, the aesthetics are so pretty to look at, and the music is just so good I could listen to it for hours. It perfectly complements the entire theme of this game. Its a shame you guys didnt give out their names. The only flaws here is that it feels incomplete. So you guys should make this your main project and expand on this ALOT more. I doubt your other games are this good. Now I dont know how to describe this one but I love the voyeur aspect of this game that's going on, like you can talk dirty or grope some of the girls and they would either dig with it or shrug it off after some anger or annoyance, probably because they are either huge sluts or its just that some mild sexual harassment is considered normal by society. I just love that kinda shit. I hope the future cgs are also good like the last ones, because its done by ai so I cant expect there to be too much variety, and because this games needs alot more cgs to compensate for the lack of animation.

This game is pretty good if you are looking for this game's tags. It is pretty surprising how othe games of this genres' cant offer same diversity of paths. I mean, you want to share your mom with the family? yes you can. You want to keep her just for yourself? then so be it. You want to corrupt her, romance her, share her... Thats the only game i can play so much diverse paths in adult games.
The only cons i can say is transitions are too slow compare to renpy games.
I would want developer add more pregnancy content to the game. Unfortunateley there is only one character we can impregnate and she is not mc's mom.

I want to love this game. The graphics and scenarios are perfect. The girls are super attractive. But it just does the most important part, the sex scenes, wrong. Each scene is 2-4 CG and start to finish last 10 seconds. You grind up some points until they like you enough, and then its: "Ok lets sex. CG1, CG2, CG3. Ok sex done". Every sex scene just feels unfulfilling unfortunately.

Also the game is super tedious to play, gotta click a thousand buttons to move around or skip a day.

I'm struck by the lack of other developers really creating a game like this already; the easiest kind of game to insert AI CG is probably management VNs, and it's really well inserted here. Game isn't completely finished but this kind of idea can really be fleshed out so it's super exciting and probably one of the best ways to a) incorporate AI CG without it looking super tacky, and b) actually have a good amount of gameplay hours.

Definitely one of the best games I've played in terms of gameplay wise. The AI art is surprising really well done. The sandbox aspects of the game are pretty niche as well.

My complain would be in area where they did not take enough time(by that i mean more texts, dialogues and scenes) . The relations feels a bit rushed. Should have had more build up before the finale.

Some more actives and bonding among the family members would be really dope. Adds more layers and depth to the world.

And then finally a proper ending for the harem route. Maybe move to newer place with the sht load of money they made now...

In the past five updates plus accompanying bugfixes, the best thing added to the game was a proper save system, with at-will saving (kinda) and a number of slots that can be overwritten. There is still the issue that you need to be in the bedroom to actually save, which means backing all the way out of wherever you are, saving, and going all the way back. There is an upgrade you can purchase to make the trip back a single click, but it's expensive (skill points are rare enough) and screams of a band-aid fix. Additionally, and this is more important, there's no saving during dialogue--i.e., no saving before major choices, unless you predict they're coming.

Additionally, the game is... faster, mildly. Text still starts writing slowly before being able to be skipped, and the conversation interface needs a second or two to come up every time it's used (very, very often). With the changes the team has made, my guess is this is not a design issue, but an engine issue, which is a damn shame since it means there is a limit to how much 'better' things can get.

So, with the caveat that it is a very slow game while you're actually playing it, plus it will never get much better, plus the save issues, plus the design being built around a very slow and occasionally obtuse grind, I still think it's worth playing. It's not strictly 'painful' anymore, though it can be annoying. The game is also significantly more stable in my experience--if you're locked out of something, it typically means you made a clear, telegraphed decision. Additionally, each update (that isn't bugfixes) adds a LOT of content. I'm not the biggest fan of how choices are so permanent in a game like this--for example, picking the 'Anna' route with Charlotte means you can only ever do threesomes that don't feature sex with Charlotte--but I can recognize it's a design decision of the game that will likely never change.

If you like games that take their time, this remains one of the best. You'll know about an hour in if you're willing to spend the time to see things through--a fresh save took me about five hours to get to any sex with Anna, and that's with knowing (generally, it's been a while) what to do. The content is still among the best on the site for its category, and there's tons of it, if you can put up with the engine.

Great game, lots of things to discover lots of paths and loads of content. All and all just an amazing game certainly worth a download.

I was baffled with the amount of things you have a choice in and how deep those paths go.

Good simple game with a focus on thicc milfs. It's a story about gradually turning your mom into an onlyfans slut. (I noticed there was a line of text that refers to the woman as mom, can't fool me with that landlady retcon nonsense, why is it always landlady anyways?)

The art is really great, you usually can't tell it's all AI made (I believe the pixelation helps a lot with that) and there is plenty of hot pics/scenes (although early game is a bit grindy before you get to the good stuff i admit).

Honestly it was just a simple and to the point hentai game about fucking some milfs, nothing revolutionary but good for a fap or two.

Hey there, I recently started playing the game, and I’m really enjoying it so far. However, I feel like the game could use more options. Right now, it feels somewhat limited and a bit stagnant. For instance, if you answer incorrectly, there’s no way to go back, and key features like resolution, sound settings, or a gallery are missing—things you usually find in other games. The lack of options is definitely a downside.

I do love the art style, but it would be even better if there were animated scenes instead of just static images. Right now, it feels a bit boring as is. It’d also be great if there were more sound effects during funny interactions between characters , and having voice acting for the characters would really elevate the experience.

That said, I want to thank you, Arvus, for creating and sharing this game with us! I hope you’ll consider adding some of these features as the game continues to develop. I think these changes would make the game even more engaging and would help keep players from getting bored as they progress.

Starmaker is kind of like the best implementation of an AI imaged generated game. It's pretty good in most aspects. The biggest issues in my opinion is that the best parts of the game which is the starmaker /Onlyfans and slow Netori aspect of the game where you slowly steal Anna your stepmom or whatever from your stepdad can be expanded.

Outside of that the other issue is the bugginess. I've run into some softlocks where you can still progress but the game's journal that should tell you how to progress isn't actually how you progress. There is also alot of incompleteness where like some old events are still in the game even though contextually it doesn't make sense. Example is you'll see some of Anna's precorruption events where she's still not to sure about her relationship with her stepson still avaliable to stumble on even when it's end game.

The Ai issues are apparent if you are looking closely or paying enough attention. You see interiors of cars that don't make sense or outfits that aren't consistent during scenes. There one scene with Anna taking off her sweater but she's like unbuttoning it like it's a button up shirt?

An amazing game with good art an awesome LI's that aren't just one dimensional. As of writing this they also still add new stuff (New characters and paths). The paths vary depending on your choices, where the choices are pretty intuitive as to what the outcome will be.

Quite a fun game, although I personally avoid futa & gay game. The graphic is also unexpectedly great. This is the first Arvus game for me and I love it. Thank you Arvus Games, keep up the good work. I will donate through itch.io.

Scenes, cg, dialogue, great. Scenarios, situations, great.

But the lack of guidance, the inability to branch saves so you can see the different paths, makes it bad.

Almost makes it worse. You're baited by the good parts but the experience of playing the game is miserable.

A great entry into the erotic game library, honestly I'm only holding it back from 5 stars due to a few smaller things that sadly combined mean dropping a star.

Still positives first:
1. Amazing artwrok, the pixelated sprite look hits that sweet spot oh so well for me and I love it dearly.
2. Music/Sound effects, all are good though a little more actual sexual audio might have enhanced the experience still what's there is great.
3. Plenty of content that will keep going for hours long after I''ve arrived .
There is a bunch of other smaller thigns but I'm just hitting the main notes for the postives.

The negatives:
1. As already mentioned by many others the save system isn't great.
2. No Gallery mode, honestly it's more a shock to NOT see on especially in a game this long.
3. Money takes a good while to start earning but eventually it becomes as easy as breathing, basically the game starts out at it's 'hardest' before becoing far easier to earn cash as time goes on. Simply put a reversal of gaming 101.
4. It's possible to lock yourself out of endings and unfortunatly it means if you want to see different endings you have to replay the game from the beginning multiple times.

Again though these negatives are fairly minor as the core game is still enjoyable on the whole.

I know the devs have other games out as well but I would love to see them tackle a game with this style again in the future.

On the whole, very recommended.
