At least 2 more patches should be released, one of them should be more global. And in September the final version will be released on Steam.

Where are you getting that Sept release from? If it's following the usual release version nomenclature, there are five more releases before completion.

Their game Arenus someones post summed it up good:
This game was announced in July 2017, and had a release date of 2019. That release date has been pushed off about a dozen times. The demo only came out in March 2020, and it wasn't until August 2020 that it was patched up enough to be moderately stable. Virtually no new content was introduced in that demo that wasn't in the 2017 trailer for the game. Three years and nothing new? Two years and no real progress after the last demo patch?
The game was complete in 2023
But this game seems pretty much complete and I can see the devs just pushing out a tiny content patch or two then saying done and moving onto their "main" games like they say
