Your examples might have been simply unappealing to me in particular, but overall I think adding animations is risky.

It seems to me your reasoning to dislike animations comes from the same place as disliking movie adaptations of books, because by definition it overrides the reader's imagination with the director's. A completely valid take, but still, the defects you equate to "AI slop" (dick shrink) were only a problem with Adrian's animation. In any case, thanks for going into detail, I appreciate the feedback.
