Replaying this game wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact dialogue and pretty much everything else is so slow.

Imagine getting an update to one of the best games on this site and instead of being thankful you go on a biblical level crashout.

I'm looking forward to see what the different systems do to the regular gameplay. I didn't think they would add traits.

The motorcycle races in the game are completely blacked out; the game screen is not displaying properly.

Problem with the new version (both 1.8 and 1.8A) when running on Linux through wine: It isn't accepting inputs. I can't even quit the game from within it, I have to tab out and kill it from my task bar. This wasn't an issue for 1.7.

Any ideas how to fix this? I double checked but it doesn't run on proton through steam (never did).

EDIT: Got it running; I've coasted by too long on steam and basic wine. I cracked and set up the standard opensource tools for running windows games; this update is the first game I've tried that didn't "just work" with either default wine or by adding it to steam and using proton through it.

I'm just glad to see more of Astrid. She's my favorite side character, love her mysterious yet friendly and playful personality. And her dialogue at the carwash is so goddamn funny

Maybe I'm playing the game wrong or something has changed. In order to get to Anna's "slut route" you have to do lewd or scummy actions, something that results in a little devil icon in the bottom right corner. But if I choose those actions, the mood goes down.

Do I have to ruin the mood to get the "slut route" or is the "slut route" tied to your Lewd level now?

Dude, it's literally just your problem. My saves did not break in these patches.

Your saves werent broken doesnt mean that applies for everyone else.
Try searching this thread to see how many replies saying saves being broken?

If many people have such issue, that simply mean you are just lucky, for example you didnt progress far enough.

Each time they update the game and remake something, even some CGs, some data parameters are changed. Take the blue hair succubus as an example, her entire storyline was remaked. So if you are lucky enough that the game still recognizes your save, you still have to grind her story again. But for other people, like me, will have to grind from the very start.

There was mention of gifts countering the mood. Maybe try flowers or chocolates and see if those help? also maybe things like doing dishes might up it without hurting going for slut route too much?

Looks like doing the dishes raises the mood and gives good boy points, but giving gifts only raises the mood.

I beat the game completely three times. If this is “not far enough,” then I advise you to pick up that red, round thing from the floor.

If your saves are broken and others are not, there is a 50/50 chance that this is your problem. Major changes to save files and the game in general are only available in this version. And in the end, none of this speaks volumes about the quality of the game. You are either searching the topic for a ready-made save, or looking for another game.

Let me remind you that for a fairly well made game you pay - ZERO. Under any circumstances, whether you downloaded it from links on the forum, or from Itch.io. This puts any complaints into the realm of whining.

I should've been more specific, my bad. I already know how to get Astrid's side-quest now, which is the haunted house in the foundry/harbor area. I'm talking about Emma's cryptid hunting side-quest. Still haven't gotten it yet.

Edit: Disregard that, the side-quest activated on its own. I don't know how, but it just did.
