Do previous save files dont work on 1.8 ?

i wouldn't play it lowkey cause i tried with my old files grinded a little and then the game bug froze the game i closed the game and opened it again and all my progress got reset. the save says i did the work but all of it got reset.

Edit: There are some further things to resolve with the following, may look at it more tomorrow.
Edit2: I have got this working further along by creating a dummy .so BCrypt.dll. I'll test this a bit first before reporting back. Hoping there are no more native calls that I need to shim.

For Linux Users:

There appears to some new api's used in the new Unity Player around input.
The current wine version (latest is 11.0rc2) do not currently have these implemented, hence
things like mouse clicks not working.

Fortunately, we can just copy in the missing linux runtime data as the game
still ships with a vulkan renderer (and not just directx).

I've generated the corresponding game files and uploaded them here:

# Instuctions

For Starmaker_1_8A

- Rename the `Starmaker Story_Data` to `Data`
- Copy all contents of this directory into the existing (Overwriting if
prompted)
- Run `LinuxPlayer` to start the game

I've done some preliminary testing and the game works well. Let me know if any issues. I don't expect the wine fixes to be in the next stable release.

Problem with the new version (both 1.8 and 1.8A) when running on Linux through wine: It isn't accepting inputs. I can't even quit the game from within it, I have to tab out and kill it from my task bar. This wasn't an issue for 1.7.

Dev clearly didn't do QA testing before shipping this buggy mess. I'll just wait for the patched full release.

Made a simple save editor. To use :unzip then start program and drag and drop the save folder lockated at""C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\LocalLow\Arvus Games\Starmaker Story\Saves\"" folder will be named something like "NANOSAVE_0006" . Note : dont work when game is running.

any new scenes for anna on both sharing or solo routes? Im too dang tired to play this game for another “2 times” just to see a few new scenes,and solo route would be my priority Since im not that much a fan of sharing,so im here asking is the update good enough for me to play it twice?

Recompiled program without std library and ziped with rar instead of 7zip.
