Okay, for the gooners who can't wait and believe "the guy is part of a larger developing group, they must pool the same amount of time and resources for this project." To put a much larger company in the spotlight, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (which is the mainline series) cost about $22 million according to some sources. Legends Z-A (a side project), had a cost of about $13 million. It was half the cost of the Gen 9 and everyone could tell. To go even further, Pokemon's main source of income is its merchandise, such as toys, and the card game. If you make more money from main product, why invest lots of resources in the side products that make less than at least 3/10 of your income? SO, since Starmaker is a side project, with 1 dude making it, and is not even related to his company's main game; why would Avurs as a whole push this game more than the one they think will make them more money. At least this game will be done in a years time with tons of content on it. Roundscape 2 was announced almost 2 years. It hasn't been updated here since its 0.2 release. Wanna complain about wasted money, look at Roundscape and tell me that game isn't blowing through money without a return on investment. But most importantly, its FREE!!! MOST PEOPLE HAVEN'T GIVEN THIS MAN A DIME AND COMPLAIN. Do people just go to their friends house, eat their food, watch and play games with them, and procceed to go "hey dude whats up with the off-brand food and crappy entertainment? Don't you have any steaks or something?" I'm just ranting now, but ya'll need to chill.
