I made these save files as a way for me to restart the game without having to replay the intro and then redo the money cheat every single time. This is a completely fresh save(Day 1) with NO progression made whatsoever. I edited the money value to give me $10,000,250.00 to stop the slow grind.

Notes:
  • After some testing, it seems like there isn't any major issues.
  • Important: With the newfound money cheat, keep in mind that buying everything can potentially soft-lock you from certain events. The narrative cohesion will have a seizure on what order of events has/have/had happened. Buy the upgrades at your own discretion.
  • Just make sure you make BACKUPS for your saves.
  • While they fixed some of the major bugs, there are still some weird dead-end paths.
  • If you have a bug where the UI doesn't appear. Rapidly press F1 for debug.

Version: 1.8a (older saves aren't "compatible" with 1.8)

Instructions:
  1. Download the save files attached below.
  2. Open and extract contents within zip folder.
  3. Take the NANOSAVE_0001 into the save file location and overwrite, if asked.
  4. Open the game to check.
Side-Note: Please remember that if you want to change the name(John) to yours. Look for two instances of "John" in the save file and change it to your liking. Also make sure to change the metadata file too. The method is located above in a comment link.

Save File Location: AppData\LocalLow\Arvus Games\Starmaker Story\Saves

Family Save:
  • Anna (Mom/Son)
  • Josef (Dad/Son)
  • Adrian (Brother/Brother)

if your mac guys want to play 1.8A on mac using crossover,wine and cant interact with in menu using mouse it because dev shifted to new unity engine
i asked chatgpt and it said its due to unity input system change

which route are you playing for Anna? because the first time I played this game I went with the slut route and I think she had scenes at the starcon with other men and i read the walkthrough she also has a scene with master zen only in that route. I am currently playing the love route and I will try the slut route again once I am done or once i feel like doing it with the 1.8a updates. But yeah adding more scenes for Anna with other characters other than the sharing with Phoenix, Ken and a threesome with Charlotte (so far those are the ones i remember that I got before my ssd died and i had to revive an old hard drive. for some reason the back i have with that route is not working even though it is with 1.8a save file so not sure if it is a me only situation or this happened to someone else)

I'm also playing the slutty role. There are scenes where I'm making phone calls at the photographer's house, and also scenes in the park with fans, but they are all very simple scenes. And these photos aren't on Anna's main page. It would be great if they could add the scenes of Anna interacting with her fans to her main page later on.

i agree on that, and hopefully an official gallery accessible on the pc since we already have pictures on adrian and the other guy's pc. but thank you for the one who made the gallery mod and the editor. i did used the editor to tweak katarina on the last save i have before my ssd died. i changed her setting so i can have after i got mario arrested since she hated me i only have emma. too bad in that save i have a number of girls in the farm.

There's something I don't understand about getting Katarina and Emma to the farm. Can't I take them both at the same time if I take the route of sharing Emma with Mario? Because if I share Emma, Catarina gets angry. So how do I get them both to go to the farm?
