Steam games not creating save folders

Reliably every time I download a game thats uploaded to steam, no matter what the saves never actually get saved to my computer, for example Im trying to run summer memories, but my saves always get deleted if I quit
I should clarify these games are cracked and I've downloaded them off of here

It might be an issue with steam saving to cloud:

Then it still can be the administrator setting. And it you use WinRAR, it can be because you don't extract the game before playing it.

WinRar's been under a lot of fire in the past year or so because of an exploit of winrar files being abused to run malware by unzipping files with WinRar (

). So, if you insist on keeping WR, just make sure that it is routinely updated.

Would recommend 7Zip as a safer alternative. My $0.02.
