Well, there's one for games like Skyrim and the Sims. Stellar Blade is already popping off with 'basic' mods being posted to the nexus with promises of expensive patreon subscriptions for more.
God it's so annoying to see the modding scene going from communities that naturally build up around these games and being dedicated to making them better just for the love of it and for the community, to being utterly riddled with paywalls and opportunists. Everything must be financialized and micro (or not so micro) transacted these days.
