I don't really relate to characters by their looks, as much as I do by their personality (and being interesting/engaging), but I totally agree in that I'd much prefer to play as a character that's decent looking rather then one that looks like a bland NPC. I don't think it's selling women short in any way to want that, either.
Who says the two have to mutually exclusive? Also, the person you replied to didn't say anything about the MC needing to be a bimbo - there is a middle ground between NPC-forgettable and bimbo.

It's damm clear (at least for me) developer went for 100% gay and changed his mind to transform his loved boy to another boy with tities ......... i mean look at those girls they're in fact all men who got changed into girls ...... or the artist got a serrious problem to make difference between boyish girl and girly boy ....

Hm, I don't have the best feeling about this but it's still too early to really tell & it might as well turn out to be a gem. Good luck to the Dev & kudos to the art-style itself, even though I don't love the looks of most of the characters on those screenshots.

MC works just fine as a piratical sort. The princess type some want to see would have jarred enormously with the rest of the game's vibe.
The characters do look a bit alike, but I attribute that to the fact that they are all drawn by the same artist, Who does yet have quite the breadth of style to do truly unique characters. They all work just fine within the framework of the story.
What impresses me most are two things:
1. The writing is good. As in, really good. The descriptive bits are descriptive, the writing has appeals to the senses and to the emotions, and the dialogue is natural-sounding. Good banter is almost impossible for me to write, but this author has it down pat.
2. The two stories so far are completely divergent. Most choices are for flavor, but some change the whole story.
The story is clearly very much a Firefly clone, but there's nothing wrong with that. Firefly deserved more exposure and imitating a lot of its is smart.
I'm looking forward to more of this.

don't finished games get a [Final] tag which means the dev won't update it anymore and it's pretty much complete?

Lots of devs just use any old number they want for versioning. Once you realize that, you just use the version numbering for different versions of the same game. The standard "version 1.0 means complete except for bugfixes or DLC" is not the standard for amateur porn games, and really doesn't have to be.don't finished games get a [Final] tag which means the dev won't update it anymore and it's pretty much complete?
