So, I tried v0.0.1a--this isn't a real review, though, just my reactions.

* I like the art style in general. (But none of the characters have noses so with the BESM drawings--big eyes small mouth--they all look like amphibians to me.)

* Sound effects seem well chosen; I quiclky turned off the music (just my preference); and I didn't hear any voice acting. I will likely turn off the sound entirely in the future.

* The story needs to be run through a good spell checker. The writer isn't a native English speaker/writer but there were only a few minor problems with the language.

* The writing-story-plot-characterization all seem simplistic. Everything seems like it was written for a children's cartoon (i.e.: get the too-basic info and plot to the watcher and then leave on a small cliff-hanger for the next advert) by adolescent writers who really don't think their audience is anyting other than pre-adolescents.

I might or might-not download & try furture versions. (If v0.0.1a is considered the intro. to the book, I might come back after chapter 5 to see if anything better has become of the story.)

The writing is not stellar, but it's entertaining enough. There's definitely room for improvement, though. Like e-disfunction already said, there's several glaring spelling errors and embarassing mistakes in there (like "not by a long chalk"). But most of the text is legible and easy enough to follow, so there's that.

I really like the art in this one. Even though the style doesn't look too slick or professional, there's a charm to it.

I also noticed that the quality of the interface is pretty good, even though it's a visual novel made in Unity. Unity is quite flexible, and while it's certainly suitable for making visual novels, it wasn't actually designed for that. So it takes a little extra effort to build a proper VN interface in Unity. Shoddy developers will skimp out on that sort of thing, but Silent Square clearly didn't - and that deserves credit.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Definitely interested in what the next releases will be like.

Art seems good, but the extra early release makes me wary. Many times, the H scene in the previews is the only scene in such early releases - is that the case here?

The comments about extremely simple story also turn me away, but looking at the interface, it's clear someone put effort into it. Given it's a porn game, a simple story is probably forgivable... But at these early stages, it won't mean much either way.

Anyway, I'm watching, but no download yet. My folder's getting full anyway...

Do you realise that if you go to a downloading forum like F95zone and complain to a software developer or uploader that you are too lazy to install free, respected, standard software for downloading, you will likely get banned by a moderator?

Some free advice: you might want to apologise to partanen at least.

by default windows doesn't work with much so expecting people to post extra-large downloadables that people with shitty connections can't use is kind of silly.

Install 7zip and get used to using it, or accept the fact that you won't be able to use most of the downloadable files on the internet. There are only two options.

This is not accurate, but can it do 32 bit assembly? It will be launched on 64 bit systems.

The text appears very smoothly. Sexy! Changing sprites also looks cool.

Transitions between scenes can be accelerated. They are long.

Celia is poorly distinguished from the player’s room.

The background at the party is not full screen.
