Rough, mate. Rough.

Both are mostly my personal preference.
I feel like being able to self insert yourself into the game has some merit. I tried telling the story from third person but it feels kinda detached. That's why it is told from second person. But, at the same time, I AM trying to tell a story.
Adding choices, personally, is not my thing at all. Not only does it inflate the scope, having to redo further content multiple times with choices in mind (or having choices that don't matter, like them adding relationship points (bleh) and stuff), makes some players (including me) frustrated with having to mess with saves due to skipable content, or when the result does not match the desired outcome. Yeah, there can be a disconnect between the action of character and the player, if no choice is given, sure. But i really wasn't planning on making some branching narrative. Just making up a story to busy my head with something while the world is burning.
FYI, with regards to using the term skip(able) with some controversial content, as this can be received very differently if some content is just a skippable choice for the player.

Skippable = The controversial content still happens, but off camera (A community hated method if controversial kink content is happening to the players love interests. )

Avoidable = It never happens (A community favoured method to present most controversial content as a user choice, so a player can prevent it from ever happening to their love interest.)

Even though skip and avoid are very similar in meaning, they do provide very different results with in a adult video novel. So please don't take this advice as a huge negative, this is just some important information to aid with gaining the maximum user interest for a decent harem story.

I was mostly talking about the content that gets missed by player if he chooses a different option. Having to reload and see what direction it takes, then not even remembering which was what. Missable would be the most appropriate word, I guess.
In general, it either requires to make a short game with very good fleshed out branches, or it's not going to matter in the narrative all that much.
I get what you're saying with kinks and stuff, though. I prefer my harem to be wholesome.

yeah I get that, I just see a lot of ways this could be an epic adventure with those choices, but I agree its an exponential curve for the developer. I get why ya just want to just tell a simple story, esp if its not going to be some long epic. But I prefer the immersion of naming the MC and guiding the story so I guess Im on the opposite ends of the table from you lol

that said its still quite good and fun even if its a bit short right now.

would be better if we could name the MC

aside from that its short but fun.... pity its kinetic tho.. theres a solid base here for something big with many paths
Yeah, I'm not happy about the lack of name changing. Although I'm writing my own with a named character so I get there is a need for it sometimes.

Hello SolidDoc !

I've finished this version and i loved it a lot. The writing is great, the pacing is strong, you give enough info without loredumping us, and the character dynamics are well done as well as the dialogs. It never feel rushed, nor too long. Franly, it's a 4/5 for me.

For what make it a 4/5 and not a 5/5 are mere subjective peet peves regarding aesthetics so feel free to discard them. It's basically the characters models.

Sally is incredibly cute and well done, realistic and with great clothing, but she feels like she is from a different setting, because Thoria and Lys meanwhile wear form-fitting clothes who look much more "pornified" and it seems a bit strange for me. I think it would be better if they have more skin covered and less "texture clothes", especially since Sally look "pirate/corsair/sailor" enough but neither the elf or the dwarf (Grum is okay).

Also, for Thoria, is hair cut look like the mix of 3 different one, and the "buns" make her look like Minnie sometimes. I think a new, simpler haircut would be better.

Frankly that is all ! As again, i like how they all speak differently, how the relations are shown, how you take the time to etablish what happens, and the sex scene with the goblin was a very good surprise ! I really look forward to see what's next, even if you don't change anything regarding my remarks.

I just curious, does this game have magic in in. I saw an elf, an orc and what I think is a dwarf.

Totally fair, I’ll gladly take a 4/5.

I tried to mix Age of Discovery/Colonial era setting with some fantasy elements. Elements of magic, the supernatural, and superstitions are in the plan.
